oh my God, this was an incredibly exciting series of shoots. I can’t wait for the sets and videos to appear on Restrained Elegance, we shot some really lovely stuff. Despite being about a foot shorter than me, Hannah looked super in my Victorian blouse with the sleeves rolled up a bit. And although its nerve wracking for me, shooting with models we haven’t worked with before is certainly exhilarating. Dolly is ‘real life kinky’ and you can follow her adventures on Twitter where she is @subDolly1. She’s such fun, and eager to try everything. I’m sure that her spirit will come across in the sets that we shot and I really hope everyone enjoys them. And wow, what to say about Tina K? She’s just absolutely wonderful; playful, professional, and really, really sexy. I for one certainly hope that this will just be the beginning of a long working relationship with her. Hope you love the sets and videos when they appear here on Restrained Elegance.

I’m so glad you enjoyed this set! Danielle is an absolute sweetie, incredibly bondage-tolerant, and we’ve got plenty of gorgeous sets of her coming up in the future. I hope you enjoy them as much as this one 😀
I agree; it’s harder to shoot from the riggers perspective – at least, it is for me because I can’t break the habit of sticking out my tongue in concentration when I’m rigging, which looks ridiculous on camera 😳
But it does add a bit of texture to the story and we’re planning to shoot a set like that at our shoot tomorrow. Hope it works out well!
So glad you said that, Rob. At our shoot with Clover we shot a couple of nude in metal concept videos and they turned out beautifully. I do love Clover and I really hope that you enjoy the videos when they appear on the site 🙂
Oh my goodness, it was such lovely, giddy fun. I’ve got a knee injury which is currently making both modelling and rigging a bit on the painful side so I have to admit I wasn’t actually looking forward to the trip much because I was worried that I might not be an awful lot of use.
But it’s an example, I guess, of personnel being so, so important. Besides being one of the best models in the country (I think, anyway) Katy’s one of my best friends and we never run out of things we’re desperate to talk about. So having her there all week made everything instantly more fun. And Natalia, who I don’t really know as well, proved to be just fantastic company too. I love her! She’s better at doing professional faces for the camera than the rest of us too.
And then there was the joy of having Merlin, Steve and Kate as crew (and model, in Kate’s case; hoorah!) We missed you, Merlin! For the record, Merlin seems to have far meaner ideas for what to do with the models than the rest of us, which has resulted in some harsher-than-usual but fantastic photosets 🙂
And Steve and Kate surpassed themselves with some beautiful rigs I’ve never actually seen before. Hooray! Can’t wait for the pictures and video from this trip to start showing up on the site. Yay; I miss everyone a lot now we’re home; I want to live on an RE commune with the rest of the crew. Yes 🙂
Obviously, Hywel was super too, but saying boastful things about my husband feels a bit too close to boasting about myself. Love him though, he was very kind about making sure I didn’t damage myself by doing too much work. But I’m very happy to say that I made it into a lot of the videos, and directed all the craziest ones. Sorry in advance.

Thank you so much! I’m really glad that you liked it; the set was my idea because I read a lot of Greek and Roman myths when I was growing up, and I loved all the human-sacrifice themes. So I’m happy you liked this too 🙂 I hoped the rope blindfold wouldn’t put people off; I know it’s not the most beautifying of blindfolds but it felt right cos it was sort of rough and ready 🙂

Thanks very much Doug 🙂 I did enjoy shooting that video so I’m very glad you liked it too. Acting in BDSM films is a strange mixture of acting and real emotion I think, and sometimes even I am not sure what’s real and what’s pretend when I’m in the middle of acting in a video.
Oh my gosh, isn’t she fantastic? I love editing pictures of her, she just gives so much emotion to every shoot. Love her love her love her!
Thanks Doug for your post. As Hywel said, it was a shame that we were on public land for that shoot; in fact a lady with a dog came along while I was handcuffed and snuffled around me cheerfully while the lady tried to edge away with the minimum of a polite ‘good afternoon’.
So I’m sorry about the lack of nudity, and agree that opening blouses/pulling up skirts is a good thing to do when it’s possible. I love that as a model; one of the things I love about spanking work is that one’s skirt is always being flipped up, and panties are always being pulled down 😉 I hate doing it to other models when I’m rigging, because I always feel so rude, but I’m working on it 🙂
And thanks so much for the comment about the clothing! I made the skirt because I wanted a ‘classy English country lady’ outfit, so I’m very happy you liked it – I worked hard to get the fit right 🙂

But hooray, I like your idea, and I’ll put it down on our shoot ideas list. I’ve just been sent a lovely new set of handcuffs too, so that would be fabulous fun to shoot.
I wonder if it’d also be fun to shoot an alternative, in which the two girls fight each other because both of them want to wear the cuffs and don’t want to share their bondage thrills? I think that idea popped into my head because I’m excited about my new handcuffs and don’t want to share them with any old model, she’d have to prove her kinkiness first 🙂

Wow.
It’s absolutely amazing I think; so beautiful. I think the best suspensions quite often look effortless, as though the model just paused in this position perfectly comfortably. I’m sure it wasn’t comfortable, and I imagine it was quite the opposite of effortless to tie – but the effect is absolutely gorgeous.
I love it, and would really like to see any more pictures you’ve done – thank you for sharing it with everyone.

Hi Lurker, ooh golly no, I’d be more than happy to tie it on other models, and in all honesty I wouldn’t refuse to do it myself either, it just isn’t a favourite 😉
Name-wise, that’s an interesting subject for me. ‘Waitress-tie’ doesn’t upset me enough to feel angry or anything, it just doesn’t actively conjure up a picture that happens to fit my kink. But OH MY LORDY, I discovered that a spanking position which I’m perfectly happy to do is called ‘Diaper Position’ by some spanking producers.
This absolutely freaks me out, and now I refuse to do it unless they promise to call it something without the connotations of a)early childhood and b)incontinence. I call it ‘Legs Elevated’ which I think sounds much more elegant and sublime 🙂
So yes, sometimes the name makes a difference, and I’d probably like ‘Waitress Tie’ better if it was called ‘Beautiful Princess Tie’ but it doesn’t make me actually want to howl in anger.
Yep, I definitely think some of our old sets are super inspiration for new sets and videos, and I’d absolutely love to revisit some of them. Personally I’d be keener to use them as a springboard for new ideas that try to do some sort of ghastly shot by shot remake in the style of Gus Van Sant’s Psycho, but for sure, using them as inspiration (or doing sequels!) feels like a great plan 🙂
LOL, she does have a super bosom, doesn’t she? I always worry she’s going to get tired of me wanting to do chest harnesses on her, but I love doing them because she looks so great in them 🙂
I just had a look at the set you referred to, and I see what you mean. I wonder if it was because she was worried about blocking her face and chest when she posed facing the camera, because of the style of the bondage? Anyway, we’ll keep an eye on that next time we tie a model in that style. I know that when I’m modelling, I worry about that kind of thing – especially since I wouldn’t want to raise my arms up enough to make the chain go slack because that might look as though it was loose? Bondage models quickly learn to never, ever make the bondage look loose, and its a hard habit to break. We shall try to make sure we reassure models tied in that position that it’s ok to pose facing front.

OhGodOhGodOhGod we tried it; we need you here! We figured out the first bit, then it all went a bit wrong. We ended up with something that did work, but I don’t think it really illustrated your original idea. And the poor model had to stand there while we both tried to figure it out in a grumpy way. Please come over and show us 😛
Forgot to say – the reason I’ve been thinking of skirts is because the harem pants we have are frustratingly impossible to remove from the model once she’s tied up 🙂
Hmm, I’ve been thinking of making some long sheer skirts because they’d be super for harem sets and they’re lovely and versatile for posing in. Shall get on to it. Actually, I’ve already made one as a test – its a sort of belly dancer’s outfit in pale peach-coloured fabric, but we haven’t shot it yet – hopefully we will do so at our next shoot 🙂
Hi Bob, oooh, I wore a zentai mummy bag for a bondage shoot last year (not, sadly, for RE) and it was absolutely wonderful as an experience for me. I wonder if there’s any interest from anyone else for this? I think it’d be important to have plenty of pictures of the girl before she was completely zipped in, but your storyline would provide that nicely, I’d have thought.

It’s true, the pole is turning out to be super fun, especially now that we’ve got the attachments; there are just so many variations of ties we can do now – it’s really exciting. We’ve got a gorgeous new model here at the studio today, and we’re using the new cross piece of the pole with her. Can’t wait to rig it 🙂
Jeff, you are lovely. I am incredibly happy to say that I’m now married to Hywel. And it’s all because of the existence of RE; I doubt we’d ever have had the chance to meet if it wasn’t for the website; but as it is, we had the rare opportunity to slowly get to know each other over the course of dozens of photoshoots. It was ages before I dared to tell him I was actually into BDSM, not thinking of Hywel’s shoots as just another day at work.
I feel very proud to have ‘married in’ to the Restrained Elegance empire. I feel like an aristocrat, and very, very haughty and important. Which might turn out to be a bit dangerous for me – I don’t think Hywel has any plans to upgrade my status just cos we’re married. He’s already made some new rules for me to follow actually

Actually, now that I think about it, last time I had a tennis-inspired idea it turned into a bit of a hard, clover-clamp themed video. Maybe I just feel as though tennis players deserve to be punished. How mean and also stereotyping of me. I should be punished. Ohhh Lordy, there I go again.
Definitely, a non SM themed tennis set would be a perfectly sensible, lovely thing to shoot. Shall try to do so (maybe with next week’s model) as soon as is practical 🙂

Hooray hooray, hello again CD, lovely to hear from you! (for those of you who’ve joined in more recent times, I think Cavalier Driver is one of the RE Members who’s been around longest – he certainly pre-dates my involvement with the site. So forgive my great excitement in seeing him suddenly re-appear).
Golly, I think one of the problems with the longer series is that up till now, all the ones with slightly harder BDSM action have kind of had to be me because it was me who came up with a lot of the stuff that was going to happen, and a) I’d have felt hideously guilty asking another model to do it and b) I think that the things I wanted to try playing out were beyond the limits of what the other models on the site like doing.
I guess that Hywel’s probably talked before on the forum about the ongoing challenge of finding the right models for the site. In the UK, there are loads of models, and a reasonable pool of really pretty girls who are genuine professionals. Which is great.
However, although more models are trying bondage shoots than, say, 10 years ago, there are still plenty of glamour models who won’t. Which, of course is fine. Plenty of other glamour models are happy to be tied up for shoots, but many of them will have limits regarding 1) Nudity (they won’t do it) 2) Gags (they won’t wear them) or 3)Both of those things 🙂 Fortunately, there are plenty of lovely models without those limits, and its mostly those girls who appear on Restrained Elegance. Thank heavens.
Of course, a natural thing for us to do (which we look into from time to time) is to find real-life glamour models who are also into bondage. That way, they’ll be likely to be keen to wear ballgags, nipple clamps etc and might well be perfect for a longer series in which they explore the limits of their BDSM interests. But most of the models (in the UK at least) who are lifestyle BDSM players are also very ‘alternative’ looking; heavily tattooed, with multiple body piercings, hair dyed in unusual colours, or not really conventionally ‘model-shaped’.
That’s not to say they aren’t excellent models, but (at least previously) they haven’t been the type of model that RE Members have responded to particularly favourably. In all honesty, I’d probably say that they’re not so much to my personal taste either, I like it best when girls look fairly ‘vanilla’ for bondage pictures because then the contrast between how they look and what’s happening to them on screen feels a bit more dramatic.
So actually, I can only think of one RE model off the top of my head who might be interested in a series like ‘Bondage Driving Test’ or my Foot Torture series. But I guess we’d better ask her before I start trumpeting about it 🙂
Mind you, I guess that a longer series wouldn’t have to be about harder BDSM action. It’s just that it’s so much easier, given that we don’t shoot particularly explicit stuff, if we can show some kind of progression beyond the model being tied up in lots of different ways….
Anyway, sorry, I think I went a bit off topic. Lovely to see you back, I’m really glad things sound cheery (and busy!) in your life.

The long Elegance Studios movie that I’m developing is all about bastinado and foot torture. So far, I’ve only worked on the first couple of scenes before any of the BDSM action starts because I’d really like some input into what you’d like to see (obviously, this depends on you liking bastinado at all; I’m aiming to shoot lots of pretty barefoot bits of the movie, but nevertheless, I guess this’ll have fairly niche appeal)
The story starts with Temptress Kate, playing the stylish but stern CEO of a shoe design company, calling me (hooray, I’m in it, this makes me very happy!) into her office because the new line of shoes I’ve designed for her are causing LOTS of complaints related to comfort!
So she sends me off to a professional disciplinarian of her acquaintance, who designs a course of foot-related punishments for the hapless Miss Anderssen (me!). Temptress Kate is actually an in-the-closet foot fetishist, who secretly watches Miss Anderssen’s punishments via webcam for her own entertainment…
I’m hoping for a very sexy, Jilly Cooper style romp with lots of poorly concealed sexual chemistry between the characters, and very gorgeous, out-of-this-world office clothes with towering heels.
I’m also hoping to shoot the whole thing from floor perspective wherever possible, so that the story is told with as many foot shots as we can manage, rather than with lots of dialogue. I’d love it to be extremely glamorous, with lots of lingering tip-toe barefoot shots, to contrast with Temptress Kate’s and Ariel Anderssen’s high heels (I think they slip their shoes off beneath their desks as often as possible!)
I hope that anyone who likes this idea will be able to throw their ideas at me as to what should actually happen to Ariel Anderssen at the hands of Mr Professional Disciplinarian!
