Hi All,
All the Bondage X Factor 2010 Portfolios are now up… so get voting!
Voting runs until 31st March, with the winner announced on 1st April.

OK, I’ve voted, and I have a few blatherings.
o Piercings (especially facial piercings) and ear gauges are a big personal turn-off, and I would otherwise have given Saphyra Lorelei and (especially) Natalia Kalashnikov much higher ratings. And in fact Gus (with whom there is no disputing) has rated them much higher than I have.
o My personal favorite is Kayla, and I hope to see more of her no matter how the voting turns out.
o Jenni C was my second choice, and she does seem to be a big favorite at the moment.

16 Jenny BThere’s only 0.3 points of average rating (out of 5) separating the top eight, which means it is still absolutely wide open, especially as a lot of the newer portfolios only have a third the number of votes of some of the ones that have been up longest. One person rating all the portfolios could shuffle the top 8 around a great deal.
So get voting for your favourites, because I think we’re a long way from seeing the final rankings just yet!

Hope everyone is doing well. Now that all the Bondage X sets are up I’ll take some time shortly to go through the sets again and try to rank them. A tough task as always, but all in fun of course. Yeah I’m one of those that wanted to wait to rank the sets till they were all up but that’s just me.
I have to echo Lurker’s comments in that I am also not a big fan of piercings, particularly facial ones. I’ll try not to let it impact my voting, and I do understand the individually aspect of doing it, but I do think it detracts from the beauty of the lady.
I also took a look back through the Bondage X sets from 2007 and 2008 and one think kind of struck me that seems to be a bit different this time around. I most enjoy a bondage session when the lady is a willing partner in the game. To be sure this means that at times she’ll play the role of the scared damsel recoiling in “terror” or the angry tigress ready to rip me apart should she escape. That’s all part of the game. But equally she’ll flash a smile and/or give a look of “Okay I’m helpless, now let’s see how high we can take things.” To me it seemed like a few more of the sets in 2007 and 2008 had at least a photo or two per set where the lady was smiling or had a kind of “Bring it on” look. I don’t seem to get that vibe from all that many of the sets this time around. Pity, but again that is just my personal spin on things. Perhaps I’ll see more of that when I go through the sets again. In any event, all of the lady’s are lovely and I thank them for their willingness to come in front of the RE cameras for the members.

I’m not a big fan of piercings myself, either. Actually it leaves me with a bit of a dilemma- for my own personal taste, I’d probably photoshop out the piercings (at least where it is a small one). But I’m not sure how fair it is to the model to do so… I guess I ought to ask her if she would object.
I did try to include at least one smiling shot in each portfolio, and hopefully you’ll see more of those shots in the full sets when they came around. We tried to do a couple of happy-smily-challenging sets and a couple of damsel-in-distress style sets with each model.

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. Hi Hywel. I’m sure when I take a closer look at the sets for 2010 I’ll see more of lighter side shots that you mentioned as I know that’s what you routinely try to show. On a real fast first run through it just seemed like that was missing a little from this year’s sets as a whole but I have not had the time to look at the photos in great detail.
While I stated I’m not a fan of piercings, on the other hand I don’t think photoshopping them out them out of a photo is fair to the model because they are a part of who she is unless she was part of the decision. I would agree with you that the lady should be asked up front if you were thinking of doing that. Similar to the piercings I’m also not a big fan of a lot of tattoos but again they are a part of the lady so it would not be fair to her to photoshop all of them out either.
Obviously there is no way that any site like RE is going to be able to please everyone with every set or video produced. There have been ones in the past that are big favorites of mine but have been rated very low by those who have voted on them as well as ones that I really just did not like at all that were rated very high. It’s going to happen, no big deal. Everyone’s tastes are different and that’s what makes a site like RE so good in that the team understands there are different tastes and tries to do justice to a lot of them by offering a pretty wide cross section of styles of bondage, restraints, clothing, story lines, persona of the model during the set/video and of course a wide variety of models. There’s something pretty much for everyone’s tastes and generally a lot for most peoples tastes so you overlook the odd set/video that doesn’t push your personal buttons as the next one probably will. And while I might not really like the piercings or ink you still have to admire the lady for putting herself out there for the world to see.

I have tied up a few girls over the years and i find that bondage with piercings is intresting, but it is also a risk. You have to be absolutley 100 % sure that there is no risk of the model falling or tripping, becuse it could be really messy if she rippes out one of the piercings.

16 Jenny BThe fact that my normal reports show the average rating to three significant figures but Scarlett and Chloe James are on equal third shows just how close it is at the top, with Jenni C leading from Roswell Ivory and Scarlett and Chloe by an absolute whisker- the positions were different this morning! So the title is wide open, a small number of votes could really swing it!
In fact everyone from Zarina at number 11 upwards has an average rating of 4.0 or more, which is amazing… a last minute charge from anyone in the top two thirds of the table could still see them crowned our winner.
SO if you haven’t already done so, please go and rate everyone’s portfolios and let us know who YOU want to see more of… and who YOU think should be crowned our winner for 2010!

Hello everyone and I all everyone is doing well,
Well a case of better late than never but I finally had a chance over the weekend to go through all the 2010 Bondage X photo sets and try to rank them. Of course with only a 1 – 5 ranking it’s a little hard rank 16 different ladies but so be it. I do want to thank all the lovely ladies for putting themselves out there like this and I certainly appreciate all their efforts as well as the RE team behind the cameras. I’m not going to go through my whole list but I will say that I gave out three 5’s, three 4’s, six 3’s, two 2’s and two 1’s. All of the sixteen sets contained something I liked but the three that I gave the highest rankings to were ones that seem to stike personal cords with more of the photos and attitude and look of the lady than the others did. In general they seemed to be the ones where the lady seemed the most “into” her situation and enjoyed it and either played it up or played into it.
My overall favorite? Tough choice but I would have to say that I enjoyed Zarina’s set just a bit better than the other two sets I ranked as a five. But I hope we’ll be seeing all the ladies back at RE over time.

Last night Jenni C was in the lead, this morning Roswell Ivory has reclaimed it, and Chloe James and Scarlett are still only a couple of 5 * votes away from them, too. Exciting!
