As a test of the new forum, here are some tastes of what is coming your way in December!
We have the debut of gorgeous new girls Tina Kaye and Dolly Xx, plus bonus presents for Xmas- we’ll be updating the site every day between 20th December and 1st January!
Lots of goodies in store, plus some bonus sets for Xmas day itself. Nude in metal, our new feature, gets into its stride with video and stills updates featuring Katy Cee, Ariel Anderssen and a double-bill of Tillie for New Year’s Eve…
And of course your two daily doses of bondage from the RE archives. It is going to be a hot month!
And in the archives:November 27, 2013 at 04:31 #23810
As usual, the sets will be something to look forward to.
WRT the forum, is there a way to add a “click to view full-sized in a new window” link to the photos?
WRT the photography, something I might as well mention here: I’m not a fan of Dutch angles in still photos, and would druther you used them much less often. What brought this up was fawnadamselcandles11.jpg, which looks like the harbringer of a set I’d rate at 5 stars – except for the Dutch angle.November 28, 2013 at 09:52 #23812
I have now logged in successfully and many, many thanks to Hywel for help and advice.
The photos are superb. On my screen, they are confined in a single column more than in the old forum. Positive: a lot easier to scroll down them. Negative: some aren’t as big. Given that they are previews and we get the full size in due course on the site, I think the positive outweighs the negative.
Good luck with the forum upgrade.

@tfandrew: The larger photos are still there, if you right click and “view image” (or “save image”) They’re just scaled down on this page to fit the wordpress template. That’s why I asked about making the images into links that open the un-scaled, full-sized pics in a new window.
But if putting that in requires a lot of custom css gruntwork on Hywel’s part, then it’s a low-priority feature.November 28, 2013 at 15:12 #23841
I’ve tried using a different theme for the blog. There are two options.
1) A full-width version which loses the sidebar navigation stuff. This makes for more legible forum but it’s too wide for the blog posts.
2) A sidebar version which is better for the blog, but not as legible for the forum.
I’ve gone with 2) for the moment. I think it is nicer than the previous layout at least. Doing more will probably require CSS hacking so I’ll wait until I have a bit more time to experiment.

Thank you, Hywel, the new layout makes things a lot easier for me. I can now zoom the page in to a size I can see and the posts still stay within the screen. I should add that I have also found (OK, had found for me 🙂 ) the shortcut keys on my PC to do the zoom easily!
Thank you also, Lurker. It’s nice to know the full size pictures are still there. Coincidentally, this morning I looked at the forum on my mobile ‘phone (Samsung Galaxy Note II) for the first time and realised how the pictures fit the screen perfectly. I don’t suppose I’ll use it that often (still a bit small for my special situation) but it must be marvellous for anyone who wants to wave the pictures round – in suitable company – and say, “look at this cool site I’ve found”.
