Hywel, Ariel, was Fetishcon 2013 a one-off for you, or are you planning to come again?
It was great fun, but transatlantic air tickets are stratospherically expensive (maybe that should be mesospherically expensive?) in August and bringing enough kit out to shoot would be prohibitive. So I just can’t afford it or justify the business expense of going regularly, at least for the moment.
I know Ariel is hoping to come back in future though, it is a bit easier for her as she can work with people at and around the convention without having to bring a lot of equipment over.

I was afraid of that, although I didn’t make the connection of “August = peak travel time for your side of the Atlantic = most expensive” until you mentioned it. August is the middle of the “off-season” in Florida, which is one reason why Fetishcon is held then.
And the successful use of “mesospherically expensive” as a description says something about us both. 🙂
