OMG, Hywel just spanked me because he heard me taking a personal phone call while I was meant to be working for him. It’s like a restrained elegance video come to life!

Ariel, how long is a ruptured ovarian cyst supposed to take to heal? Seven weeks seems awfully long.
How is it treated? You have only mentioned pain killers, I think. No antibiotics?
I googled for the treatment and several pages mention antibiotics as well as surgery. Is that plan B?Anyway, I hope you get well really soon.

Gosh, that was very thorough of you! I’ve been doing a fair bit of Googling myself (to discover, naturally, that I probably have appendicitis, malaria, alien infestation or a combination of all three).
I had lots and lots of antibiotics for a month. I’m going to hospital on Monday, when there’ll hopefully be a decision on whether I need surgery, or whether I just need to wait and see if it gets better without intervention. All a bit frustrating, but in the meantime, I get to be the Restrained Elegance Secretary, and attempt elaborate DIY projects (decoupage, anyone?)

Not very thorough at all, just a few minutes to check the treatment. A diet of painkillers just didn’t seem like a proper solution. I’m glad to hear that things seem to be moving on.
Appendicitis, malaria and an infestation!? Aw, poor you! Just like in ”Three men in a boat”. Lets hope it’s NOT an alien; things tend to get rather messy when they hatch and the pain could prove to be too much even for you.
Decoupage, decoupage, decoupage? Hm, Wikipedia to the rescue. Ah! Thanks for teaching me a new word, I’m sure it will come in handy some time. And I’m sure whatever you are decorating will look beautiful. I suppose you are using Hywel’s old drawings as cutouts?

MartesHonestly, it’s not safe working from home! My office is on a different floor from Hywel’s but he’s just come and spanked me for no reason while he was waiting for some video to encode on his machine. Hmmmm.
Fortunately, I seem to be coping with shooting again, so I’m going to escape later this afternoon to travel to tomorrow’s shoot. Before my life just becomes one long, scary Restrained Elegance video.
