Anyone noticed that CD is having a bit of a catch-up on the forum? It is perhaps a reflection of what a good community the forum has become but it seems as though if you disappear for a week or so the forum races along, such that you have loads of things to comment on when you get back.

Just a quick note to express my surprise that nobody posted a comment on the recent Sophia:Chanta sit suspension set which, I am delighted to say, blew me away. Sophia is one of the more striking models you are shooting with at the moment, I can’t quite place my finger on what it is but there is something in her facial expressions that is not all that entirely submissive. I think the juxtaposition of a less than submissive, slightly harder, facial expression whilst she is beautifully restrained (as she was in this set) is really powerful (as though there is still a bit of fight in her even though she is in this helpless position). The rigging on this occasion was just stunning – though I fear I may have been slightly swayed by so many of the shots having been taken straight-on to Sophia’s suspended bare feet! The set is definitely in my Restrained Elegance top ten sets of all time.

Just thinking about that hypothetical list (Restrained Elegance all time top 10 sets – I must one day go through my archive – many DVD’s – and compile my definitive top ten, there’s an idea I throw open to the other forum members to do as well) a disproportionate number of them have an influence from Chanta (they either feature her or were rigged by her). The Restrained Elegance ethic along with Chanta’s rigging work really well together (I mention here also the recent set of Paige as the suspended wench – which was also fab) and long may it continue (Chanta’s availability in the UK allowing). Incidentally, Hywel need not worry too much – plenty more of my hypothetical top ten are the result of his creative genius alone! Maybe the Chanta sets just stand out more because they are that bit different (generally more adventurous rigging)

Anyway, congratulations to all of those involved in this remarkable set – I am off to write a list.

Ps; Just thinking about Chanta having disappeared to the other side of the pond, didn’t Charisma Cole also head in that direction. Does anyone know if she is still modeling? Is a return to RE out of the question I wonder?
