I’d love to see you very occasionally turn your video camera 90 degrees, and shoot a video long ways, such as when you’re doing a scene where the model is standing up. I have a 1080P monitor on an arm with rotation capabilities. I know this is not a common set up, so I wouldn’t expect it often (every few months?), but I think it’d be cool, and I’ve never seen it anywhere else. If you’re doing it very infrequently, doing it on a voluptuous model with white lingerie and stockings, and white nylon rope would be just the thing. A ball gag is pretty cool too… 🙂

I’ve always wondered why portrait-mode displays aren’t more common. Printed pages are almost always laid out that way, and as the name implies it’s also good for pictures of people. I guess we inherited the landscape display from broadcast television even though we use our computer screens very differently.

One sign of a possible change is the shape factor of the Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle and other e-book readers.
