Hi All,
Ariel, Hywel, Kate, Paige and Steve have been off shooting in a castle (well, strictly speaking it was a castle gatehouse, but it kinda counts) for the last week, with visits by Sabrina (out of retirement just for one special Restrained Elegance shoot!), Sammie B and Amy Allen.
We had a heatwave, so we ended up shooting a lot of stuff outside… lots of great sets to come and some more previews in a day or two, but here’s a shot from last night to whet your appetite…

Glad to hear the trip went well, despite the heat issues. The sample phot of Ariel is a stunning piece of work. I’ll certainly be looking forward to that full set as well as the other previews to come. I’m sure we’ll all appreciate everyone’s efforts.

no no, noooo, no no I had a *great* time driving 1500 miles through France to a big stupid wedding. Standing around all day in a wool mix suit in 34 deg c heat, we had a buffet and everything.. I mean why would I want to go to a bondage shoot in a castle when I could be staying in a caravan/oven with a load of people pretending to like each other..

What a week! Who would have thought that a UK location shoot would be in such challenging conditions?? Many many thanks to everyone for making it such a memorable week as always – and thanks so much, Hywel, for asking me to come again, making this my 5th RE location shoot! It was such a lovely atmosphere despite it being very difficult to work and get your brain in gear with such muggy heat AND studio lights surrounding us.
I for one cannot wait to see some of the results. That image you posted, Hywel, is a one in a million shot, well done to Dave the Hasselhoff. 😉

Hello, it’s lovely to be back. The castle (gatehouse) was super, but strangely doll-sized. So I spent the week feeling like Alice-in-Wonderland, banging my head on door frames and ceilings. But it was beautiful, and I was very happy to be totally warm enough for once. Yay! And there was an Aga pumping out heat all day in the kitchen!
And my goodness, it was super to work with all the models. Paige is fabulous company, and I really enjoyed watching her work – she does beautiful poses, I think 🙂 And it was lovely to work with Sabrina and Sammie again – I did my favourite set EVER with Sammie (but there aren’t any pictures of it yet) And hooray, just when everyone was flagging horribly, Amy Allen arrived and was positive enough to wake us all up for one more day of shooting…
Thank you Kate and Steve for doing beautiful rigging on me, I can’t wait to see all the sets starting to appear on the site properly.
And thank you Hywel for letting us go to a castle:) And being crueller than everyone else, yay!

Oh Merlin, was a great shame you couldn’t have been with us this time. I don’t mean to make you jealous, but where else other then a R.E. location shoot do you ever get the chance to spend a week with the gorgeous Kate, Ariel & Paige, plus have Sammie, Amy & Sabrina all popping in too! Then tying them up constantly day and night and being served a never ending supply of coffee and cakes! God it was a lot of fun! It feels very odd returning to normal life again now, having spent the most amazing and surreal week with you all. Thank you Hywel for the opportunity, it’s very much appreciated.

Greetings from New Jersey – Again,
I was just on my out to celebrate July 4th (sorry to friends across the Atlantic) but decided to take a quick look to see if more of the site trip photos might have been posted yet. Not a whole lot to say other than … oh… wow … amazing … stunning …… uh did I mention WOW!? It’s hard to say what looks like the best or what one might want to see first but if I had to pick a pair or so it would be the triple shot of Sabrina, Ariel and Paige, the initial dusk shot of Ariel and that night shot of Ariel in the steel yoke with the back lighting. A most impressive photo. Clearly the RE crew has managed to out do itself yet again. Compliments to all the ladies and gentlemen behind the cameras and, or course, to all the lovely ladies in front of the cameras bringing life to our fantasies. Your collective work is very much appreciated.

Ah, thank you for your kind words Jeff. It’s always lovely to hear appreciation and I hope all these sets plus all the unseen footage will be to everyone’s liking as much as possible.
It was great to have the chance to experiment more on this trip with the lighting to create different effects and different styles of photography. Especially with the evening / night shooting which was all a very steep learning curve! I’ve never had to balance the suns natural brightness with that of outdoor flash heads before! It certainly kept us on our toes, especially when the sun dipped down and the light depleted. It’s a far cry from working in the studio! All credit to Hywel for his expertise and ability to produce these amazing effects. It was a lot of fun to shoot at the time, but it wasn’t until we all huddled around the computer every night to review the day’s work that we could really see whether or not everything had gone to plan. Fortunately, for the most part, it did and I’m sure the whole team are very proud of the results.
Plus of course it’s rare to have the opportunity to tie up several girls in one set, so it was lovely to make the most of that too!

I am LOVING the colour of Sammies hair, its stunning.
Also love the shot of Paige and Ariel standing next to each other, its quite mainstream really! Depsite the difference in stats/looks, they seem to compliment each other well in that shot. Its nice 🙂
Right, Im off to go practice my ‘vogue-ing’ for Madge tomorrow 😆
