    I have a question for the Department of Collecting Kinky Data: What are the wrist and ankle measurements (circumference) of the RE models? Or at least of those models willing to volunteer the answers?

    I’m trying to get a feel for the measurements of a “typical” model, and for how much variation there is. I could guess – but I would rather avoid the faux pas of giving the wrong answer to the question: “Do these shackles make me look fat?”

    Hi,

    If it helps, these are the standard set of measurements we have our three matching sets of SM factory cuffs in (we’ve got a fourth set, generously donated by a member, which is in somewhat different sizes, intermediate for the wrists and slightly different shape for the ankles).

    Wrists – 1 (for small models):
    circumference 15 cm
    small diameter 3.9 cm
    large diameter 5.4 cm

    Wrists – 2 (for other models):
    circumference 18 cm
    small diameter 5 cm
    large diameter 6.3 cm

    Ankles
    circumference 23 cm
    small diameter 6.2 cm
    large diameter 8.0 cm

    Neck
    circumference 33 cm
    small diameter 10.5 cm
    large diameter 10.5 cm

    We find maybe half the girls fit into the smaller wrist cuffs. The larger cuffs are slightly too big on everyone, but at least there’s no-one they’ve actually failed to fit thus far. The ankle cuffs are too big on most models which can be a problem because of where they end up sitting when she moves around (they often dig in painfully on the Achilles’ tendon) but again at least they’ve never been too small to actually fit anyone. I’d probably order them a cm or two smaller if I were to get another set.

    OK, so the small wrist cuffs are roughly the median size, and the big ones roughly 95th %tile on the big side? And the ankle cuffs likewise roughly 95th %tile or so?
