About Acquiesce

Steve says: Acquiesce was born out of a concept I once read about in a news article. It described a growing number of people who wanted to indulge their fantasises about being kidnapped and held captive, albeit fully consensual. To make a film detailing this notion required more then just the fetish content. A story had to be told which naturally led to filming in more challenging environments.

The majority of the footage was shot in the South West of England. This offered a dramatic backdrop at a unique location helping to generate a feeling isolation. Shooting outdoors in the mercy of the British weather during the winter months was not a straight forward task. Battling the cold harsh wind, intermittent rain and members of the public wondering past was an experience never to forget!
