Sometimes I’ll see a set and think “This is a great set. But would be really cool to see it redone with [a certain other model]” Most recently, Riona’s Fashion Model Bondage set gave me this reaction: “Great set. But it would be really cool to see that set redone with Natasha as the model.”
Who else here has had a similar reaction to some of the past RE sets?
(And not to disparage Riona, I think she’d make a good “haughty and self-contained” librarian or secretary – big glasses, skirt, short-sleeved blouse (or blouse removed by her captor to leave her in her bra and/or topless), and of course barefoot – shoes & stocking taken away by her captor (or not wearing stockings in the first place) Something resembling the “Eric’s Idea” tutorial set, only with glasses added. Maybe add a collar too, in the middle of the set, to show that her captor is serious – it marks “the end of her life as she knew it” in the storyline.)

I certainly agree with you and I’m sure everyone else would. Everyone would have a favourite model or just a particular model they would feel would suit a specific shoot. I think the practical problems are the cost and time involved in organising a shoot as well as the need to keep new ideas flowing and the content fresh. But that’s just my thoughts. Still agree with you though!
Cheers,
TroyAugust 18, 2009 at 16:09 #15442It might be kind of painful to have someone say ‘ooh, that’d be a great set if only the model was different!’ (eurgh, too insecure to cope with that!) but I do like the idea of re-visiting sets sometimes, especially ones that were shot ages ago. Even a basic hogtie can look so different on a model with a really flexible back (like Hannah for example – I love what she can do in a hogtie) compared to a model who isn’t so mobile. And I like it when we get lots of sets of different models in the same dress (the turquoise satin floor-length gown – I think everyone’s worn that!) I’d like to see a montage 😉
August 19, 2009 at 01:25 #15443Let me put it this way then: Some sets (or concepts) are just so good that they deserve to
be done more than once, with more than one model.August 23, 2009 at 16:23 #15444That’s definitely a MUCH better way to put it, Lurker! 😯 😮 😮 😮
What ideas would people like to see us revist? I’m not at all opposed to shooting variations on a theme, or and idea in a given setting with many different models. In fact I remember way back at the very beginning I intended to shoot a slave auction set with more or less everyone! (I think I got distracted by all the other possible storylines I could shoot… whee, look, a butterfly- easily distracted!)
We’ve certainly revisited some of the real staples- secretaries tied up for doing a bad job, harem girls, yes, even slave auctions, but mostly as variations on a theme rather than “Honest Omar’s slave auction house presents: Model X” in the way I had originally envisaged it, with a consistent storyline and a fairly consistent set of elements to the photos.
What ideas do you love so much that you’d love to see lots of different girls in them?
Cheers, Hywel.
August 23, 2009 at 17:45 #15445Which ideas would I like to see redone with multiple models? As a first pass, I’d say:
101 uses for a spreader pole, #34
Eric’s Idea (but with shoes lost more quickly and maybe glasses added)
The RE Lexicon of slavgirl positions
Nude in red rope (an older set from the archives, but there’s something classically elegant about it…)
Also, one of the “slave yoke” sets, but I can’t decide on which one.
“Honest Omar’s slave auction house presents: Model X” sounds like a good series, if you can keep from being sidetracked this time.
Maybe also a “Slave Hunter” series, where the model-of-the-set is doing some every-day activity when she’s caught, partly stripped, and put in a standard tie for shipment to Honest Omars slave auction house…

Hands up those models who haven’t been sacrificed on the altar too??? 😆
Harem girls never get boring – and medieval wenches are an RE trademark surely.
I think RE should reshoot some of the early ‘hammer horror’ esque stuff that featured in early years. Also some of the ‘scooby doo’ scenarios (with dodgy props, of course). I think these could all be shot in a more ‘grown up’ and elegant way now and are definitely worth another pass!

November 11, 2009 at 12:46 #15447My favourite sets are two that Petra did a while ago, air spirit and circle of fire.
They are so good that it would be a shame not to see them, or a similar idea (girl wakes up in linked 5 point shackles and struggles very prettily in them) recreated with another model or two (or ten). Belle would be great for example.
