At the risk of sounding, and being, cynical how do you hope to get enough replies to draw any useful conclusions?
If you look at the forum there are 10, 20 semi-active people. Since these are a “self selected” group you cannot assume that they are representative of the sites overall membership.
Look at the bottom of any of the sets, where there is an option to vote. 20 votes in total often seems like a lot of votes, and I suspect a lot more than 20 people look at any given set.
That is certainly a most valid and immediate concern.
In general, it might sense to try and foster community interactions or the building of a community.
Right now, forum and content are rather divorced.
As such, there is little incentive for lurkers to come out of the woodworks.

These forum suggestions are a good yard (perhaps meter) stick but if Hywel just follows his instincts I think he’ll be fine.I agree with many of the previous posts. Loose / sloppy bondage: why bother?
Body piercing and tattoos strike me as ugly and a bit slutty (& ‘industrial’, if you know what I mean).
Nose hooks are not sexy and cloth gags do nothing (unless the mouth has been packed first).
Scarf bondage is another turn off.
Tights leave me cold – stockings any day!
Blood, needles, bodily functions … ugh!On the other hand, I love chastity belts, tight ball gags (with drool, if possible), adult schoolgirls, models wearing panties (but not thongs!).

A major turn-on for meis beautiful, expensive lingerie when worn with Stilletto pumps. Ariel, on those rare occasions when she has worn lingerie – and I count the red ‘dress’, which was more like a slip as lingerie – has looked spectacular.
Personal turn-offs:
– boots
– socks
– bizarre positions/bondage
– fetishy gear (plastic, rubber, etc.)
– weird head coverings (like the previously mentioned gas masks)
– overuse of binding material (ropes from head to toe, etc.). It’s hard to beat good ol’ cuffs, legirons.
– going through the trouble of binding some gorgeous legs and then covering it all up with a long dress/gownI think RE is one of, if not the best, for my taste!

hmmm been trawling through some of the older posts as well as the newer ones and there are a few things I’m not too keen on…
1) Stripper shoes or platforms – whilst I am in the minority that I prefer the sub to be wearing shoes if they are dressed (barefoot is fine if they are naked) I’d rather they are wearing normal heels or boots. Partly as in some cases it can add to the predicament – i.e tied with one leg in the air is challening, being tied in heels with one leg in the air is even harder etc… but for some of the sets it just seems more complete to me.
2)Latex / Pvc not sure why but I prefer sating, silk, leather (occasionally) clothing.
3)Sloppy bondage – stuff that you know the model can get out of!
4)Slutty dresses etc if that makes sense etc
5) Extreme bondage stuff – severe gags, harnesses, nose clamps etc…
6)Blindfolds – only because a lot of the models on here have beautifully expressive eyes (Ariel, Samme, Jasmine spring to mind immediately) and the emotion that comes out from their face adds to alot of the pictures.
I’ll shut up know before I get lynched by all the barefoot lovers etc… :p

My biggest turn off is breast bondage- the way it distorts the breast the blue veins popping 😕 , I like bondage to reveal the breasts & that magical figure of eight shape of a woman by tying the hands/arm behind the back & leaving the torso clear of ropes & clothing.
Others have already mentioned those chunky platform like shoes that also distorts the female form, I dislike socks & trainers 🙁 – bare foot or sheer stockings rule OK 😛 .

At least sharp instead of fuzzy or low res pics from most other sites and the resolution is ok.
Although i wouldnt mind if RE would offer 2 zips. One with the old res and one with a much higher res like 1920×1200, could be in jpg2000 to keep the size small.
But i have to admit that the sharpness is often so good that i would not think the res is only 1200.Still 1200×800 is a bit old skool to me.My turn off’s:
1. Low res pics with lots of colorbanding like some of the ones i bought from the archive.
2. That horse like bit gag, if i want to see a horse i watch tv.
3. Smilling, some models are really pretty, but somehow they always look so happy and smiling that the sets are boring. They have to look bitchy or angry or uncomfortable or horny 🙂 But not like someone told her a joke 🙂
4. Unnatural stances, on one leg, out of balance, etc.
5. Feet, all sets have pictures with only the feet on them. Ok for foot fetish, but the first thing i do after dloading is deleting all the “feet only” pictures.Things i like in your sets:
1. Close ups from the face, so close the head is almost filling the frame, please let each set have at least 5 of them. Seewhat i mean in the Honey B set “Indian Princess”
2. Ring or ball gags, although i havent seen a ring gag on your side.
3. The sharpness of high res of new sets.
4. Lots of pictures form the exact front or back (high, mid and low height). Other sites have almost no exact front or rear photo’s like its forbidden, only sideways or 60 degrees. Sideways is 100% not sexy.
5. Build the set with beautifull clothes to (almost) naked and from no gag to gag.
6. Beautifull backgroundsettings and clothing in a set.
7. Frontals when she is lying or her stomach. I consider your vickiephogtie.zip the best and most beautifull set on your site. It has everything, angles, looks, closeup while vickiepskirt.zip is exactly the opposite. Too distant, white/pink rose clothing against white background.
8. Almost every set from Debby Turpin, she is so perfect you can stop watching her. More new sets please 🙂
9. No underwear, i didnt mind if they have any, but since i see some of your sets without them, i have to admit they look 30% better.Ok thats it for now dont know anymore
Also a big no no, is food in a scene or a model trying to eat while in bondage.

Blindfolds because most of the time the are ugly or to big, almost never seen a good one.

Big tattoos
Excessive piercings
Unrealistic storylines
Models that don’t struggle
Big blindfolds

I love nipple clamps, gag & restraints
I think Japanese shibari and rope mummification if done properly and still be very sexy yet stringent.
Some pet dislikes:
– men in shots (unless delivering a spanking on video but even then would prefer women to be doing it)
– unrealistic or loose bondage (i.e. could be easily escaped)
– cheap/tawdry/tacky clothing
– models with fake boobs, especially bad if said fake breasts are subject to bondage
– fullly clothed shoots
– shoots that have no story or progression to them
– shoots where the model insists on staring at the camera giving us the same look, angle and expression for many shots
– shoots where the model looks bored or slightly pleased to be in bondage instead of showing apprehension, struggle etc
– shoots with little variety in posing, bondage or dress
– big tattoos
Despite my big list of dislikes there are easily enough good sets to keep me subscribing.
I particularly do not like photographs which are poorly lit. I realize that sometimes this is necessary for the atmosphere of the shot, but I still do not like them.
I am in a tiny minority here, but I do not like gags at all.
For what it is worth.
I shouldn’t be too surprised to find myself agreeing with nearly everyone here. After all we’re here because we like elegant bondage.
So at the risk of being redundant, I’ll give my biggest turnoffs: tatoos, piercings, fake breasts, emaciated models, nose hooks, bound breasts that look like they’re ready to explode, masks, ring and bit gags, and anything that is or even looks dangerous or painful. Strappados definitely push my limits. The model should be able to struggle as much as she wants without either escaping or hurting herself.
I do like properly fitted ball gags, but only part of the time. It’s important not to cover up the models’ faces too much or too often.
Liking Latex and leather fetish clothing rather than dresses, satin gowns and other ‘elegant’ wear.
You are obviously in the wrong site you should go to captiveculture.com that is his (their) main menu. All the latex, plastic and leather you could ever want done tastefully.

I’m not going to change the site into anything. It started as a labour of love, of stuff I wanted to see, and will remain so. And part of that is having an eclectic collection of stuff. So sometimes we will shoot fetishwear, and sometimes we will shoot lots of other stuff.
