I agree that RealMedia is technically excellent, but you’d think the software came from AOL the way it screws up your machine.
Windows media is pretty good these days, especially at higher resolutions. With so many folk on broadband I don’t think 100MB + files would be an issue.
Mpeg4 is great for reducing file size but it can lead to excess pixelation where there is a lot of rapid movement. Not a problem in a bondage situation, I guess. 😀

Thanks for your thoughts Ariel. Big gags might be OK for a few minutes for a shoot, but not for longer term wear, surely? My partner finds the mouth stretching painful after a while and it can lead to a sort of lockjaw. Plus, she complains that the “plug” on a penis gag is always too long!! :devil
Another route to a strong visual impact with reasonable comfort is the muzzle which works by preventing movement of the wearer’s jaw. It might be a nice little item for a certain RE pet we know. :;):
Talking of gags, perhaps you might be able to help with this query. What’s the best tape to use for a tape gag? Some tapes just peel off with any facial movement, others (like Duck tape) are sticky but have a nasty chemical taste (I’m told 🙂 ) and redden the skin. I guess there must be some large medical sticking plasters that would do the job – anyone care to share their experiences? Thanks.

I guess you’re right guys. On reflection it was blindingly obvious that gay and lesbian characters were prominent in Hollywood movies for decades before homosexuality was decriminalised. Similarly the media seems to run on class A drugs, but will you find anyone to speak up honestly about it? Nah!

This is one of those tough decision points in life, but you have to tackle it because sooner or later she will find out and the deceit will be the issue, not the bondage IMHO.
You say she already participates in some light bondage. Well, why not choose your moment to tell her that this is a turn on for you that you’d like to explore further? The next time you’re in bed with the cuffs sounds like a good idea (just afterwards, actually 🙂 ). Be honest and sincere and make sure you ask her what turns her on. A little give and take should help things along. You can load up RE on the computer and ask her what she thinks. If you’ve got a laptop with wi-fi have it handy. If she’s critical point out that these kind of scenes are often found in mainstream movies and TV progs.

Great advice guys. I posted the question as it’s one that has always fascinated me so it’s only fair I add my thoughts too.
Bringing up the famous “Slave Leia” scene in “Return of the Jedi” is a useful opener. How you do that is up to you! Everyone knows this scene and its place in popular culture (e.g. the Friends episode) so it’s easy to confess to guilty pleasures – “Every guy would like a nubile slave chained to his chair/bed!” You can easily surf to “harmless sites” such as Leia’s Metal Bikini (http://www.leiasmetalbikini.com) to view the girls enjoying their costumes and see how it develops…
One of the best tactics I’ve seen was a guy who took a pair of handcuffs to a party and waited for girls to show an interest. They sure did with one girl in particular keen to try them on. They left together with her locked in the cuffs. Cool. :notworthy :notworthy
For a bit of a twist to the theme how about Ariel looking into a shop window in an old part of town and then finding herself mysteriously transported back to Victorian times for some swift justice and hard labour.

Some time ago I came across details for a small company (based in Kent) I think who would make scold’s bridles to fit an individual from mirror polished stainless steel. Sadly, I lost the address etc., in a disc failure. :down

The most reliable survey I’ve seen (undertaken annually by Durex) published in 2005 puts the figure higher. Have you shot a video where these restraints are applied to the model, clicking eack one on in turn, then joining them up with lengths of chain? That could be a cool watch. :devil

I’ve taken a look at the SM Fatory products – very, very nice (but not cheap!). I love the way they fit the girls so well.
I can’t quite work out how the lock functions though, and the ring seems to be detachable – could you explain this to me.
Regarding ways of linking shackles together, the only other solution I’ve tried is a climbing karabiner. Some of these are quite small and neat, but I guess a custom made solution would be the best bet – I wonder if the guys at SM Factory would be interested?
I vote “Yes”. They make great posters for the office wall. 🙂
