So the results are in – for those who are interested, here’s a diplomatic and unbiased report on how your friendly neighbourhood RE did 😉
Our very own Ariel Anderssen was recognised this year at 7th place in the Best Model category. As far as other RE models go, this category was won by Jasmine Sinclair and Ashley Renee got the 3rd place award.
Chanta Rose got 6th place in the Best Rigger category.
Restrained Elegance retained its Silver award in the Best Paysite category as well as staying at 3rd place in the Best Company category.
And last, but not least, Hywel edged up a spot from 5th to 4th Best Photographer.
Well done to everyone and thanks to our fabulous community for the votes 🙂

Indeed Kate. It’s nice to see that the RE community voted for our favorite site and people and the awards are richly deserved. Perhaps we can push things a bit higher in 2010 and maybe get a few more of the RE people, both behind the scences and in front of the camera, a bit more of the recognition that they deserve. I know I’ll be voting again.

Hi Ariel and thanks for your comment. To answer your question, no I have not moved. I had been using “Greetings from the Eastern USA” as my standard greeting but that does encompass a rather wide area so I decided to be a bit more specific. I live near the New Jersey coast about an hour south of New York City hence the new greeting.

Hi all;
So a bit of a belated congratulatory post (owing to CD having been his usual tardy self since about March!). Silver in the best paysite and bronze for best company are really fantastic achievements when you compare the size of some of the competition and how long they have been established. 4th for the best photographer is pretty good going too.
Congratulations too to Ariel, though frankly if you want CD’s unbiased opinion I think you were robbed. Really, what makes a good bondage model? A genuine submissive who is bloody good looking – you clearly had it in the bag. I think we members of the forum should unite and get some t-shirts made up proclaiming ‘Ariel woz robbed’. You will always be our #1.
Well done to you all though – really well deserved and a recognition of all the work that goes on behind the scenes at RE. Here’s hoping for further recognition in the 2010 awards.

Bless you, thanks CD; but I’m totally happy with 7th! I know there were some super models missing from the top 10, so just to be there at all felt a bit surreal, really.
Hmmm, there WAS no ceremony. Why?? Maybe there should be a Restrained Elegance Awards Night every year. Mmmm, I like this idea. There could be;
a) Cake
b) Actual proper speeches
c) Beautiful RE trophies
d) Awards for outstanding MembersYes please!
.. obviously these awards take place in Vegas, right.?.
No references to the “queen” Ariel thing.. think we may have finally seen the last of such nonsense 🙂 🙄 🙂
