This has been in my things to do list for a while now, time to finally try and pin down my answer to the question.

Which set of pictures / which look do I prefer?

I want to say the first half, the ones with the soft focus. In part this is because the look is quite different, so unusual for this site, so they stand out and grab my attention. Also I think they are really nice pictures.

At the same time, I prefer the sharpness and “clarity” of the second set, since it makes it easier to see what is going on.

So for general pictures I prefer the second half, although I do like the experimentation 🙂
