Happy New Year to everyone at RE 🙂 Even Hywel, who’s selfishly gone diving, and has left me to roam tragically round the RE studio, dressed like a pet girl. It’s all very sad.
I’ve had a wonderful time working for Restrained Elegance this year, and 2007 has been a MUCH nicer year for me than 2006, owing to a lack of awful break-ups, and not having to buy a house, cos I did the whole house-buying thing in 06 instead.
As I look back on the year (ah, I feel important, cos even though I KNOW I’m only the RE pet at the moment, Hywel isn’t here so I feel quite safe and also rather grandiose) I’m realising it’s been a super 12 months for bondage experiences. Some of the ones which aren’t too, too private and embarrassing to share include;-
Feeling just sooo grateful to be back in the car after being paraded round Reading wearing a big metal collar…
Realising (during the Bondage Driving Test) that even when given a little control over how much punishment I took (in the Bastinado sequence) I didn’t just elect to stop the whole thing. This was interesting for me, cos I’d always been more comfortable playing non-consensual roles before (like Damsel-in-Distress) and it opened the door on a whole lot of new types of experimentation for me (like the non-bondage bondage in the Slave Training dance/positions video…) Consequently I’m more comfortable with being sub than I’ve ever been before, and it’s very lovely.
Meeting members of RE. I can’t begin to really explain how much this has meant to me. I was initially quite worried about being a bondage model because I felt it would expose a lot more about me than my normal modelling work does. And it’s been so lovely to meet some of the people who’re members of a bondage site like this, and to realise that I’m really proud and happy to be part of the BDSM community. Hoorah!
It’s also been fab to work alongside Kate, Hannah, Sabrina, Sammie B, Sophia Smith and lots of lovely other people this year. And I’ve had a marvellous time working with Hywel, Hooray for him, I’m so glad he stopped being a scientist and started being a photographer. Thank you Hywel.
I’d love to know what 2007 brought in the way of bondage experiences for everyone else? What were your highlights? Has anyone had a bondage-disaster which they’d like to share?

Actually, 2007 was the first time that I had a real, active bondage experience. I cuffed a girl to the bed posts and vice versa, and we had lots of fun, and actually it was much better than I originally had imagined.
So, yeah, lets see if 2008 can top that! 😉The highlight has to be the tutorial shoot, I think that just counts?
I have a montage of close ups of THOSE SOCKS as the screen saver on my PC at work…. well we all know what Hywel then used them for…. makes me smile everytime it pops ups and nobody knows….. 🙂You were a great sport Ariel, heres to a super 2008 for you :cheers …. and everbody else :cheers :cheers

Question for Ariel, any chance you might talk Hywel into doing something with a fencing theme? I think it could be great fun, perhaps a looser is slave for the weekend or the others fencers are tired of the cute girl being the instructors pet. The photo opps even before anyone gets tied up could be awsome. I remember in college watching the girls streached out in lunging practice. The setting could be great as well. I would bet about one percent of the people who saw “CHAMBER OF SECRETS” realised Harry and Drako were dueling on a fencing strip.

You’re more and more beautiful and impressive every year.An experience in bondage last year? Oh yes: several months in a hospital. No, you’re wrong, it was not a psychiatric one, I was in no straightjacket, but a general one, with plenty of screens, needles and pipes everywhere around and inside, with little hope to come back home, I lost my hair and almost any taste for life, but eventually I recovered and was very, very happy to join RE and see you again. It’s great to b alive in 2008, hope the remission will last a bit longer.

I´m so happy to be a part of this community I really like RE the people are so nice.
As for bondage experinces 2007 have brought me alot of them. Being able to go to the RE studio again and having the time of my life 🙂 :love2 . Have gotten to try to be in a cage and loving the exeperince now wishing I have one of my own. I have gotten the chance to try so many new things and really findout new things I like.
2007- I have also taken the courage to be open and tell my friends what I do. I have also found some new friends who likes the same thing 🙂
Sitting here now the first day of the new year and can´t wait to see what´s going to happen.

Bondage highlights… I sort of have one. I finished writing a bondage short story – a minor miracle in its self 🙂 I am good at starting them, but not so good at finishing them, and it is actually doing quite well in the story contest where I entered it! *stunned surprise* :twirl
Joint first place with 3 other entries in a field of 6 at the moment. A tiny field, but we all have to start somewhere 🙂

This years been 99% vanilla for me which is a bit of a brave new world and actually more of a learning curve than’d imagined, but good. Sorry nothing particularly kinky to report.. The highlight was probably shooting you back at the end of January, seems a long time ago now.
Watching the development of Ariel Anderssen (and also RE generally) over the last 12 months has been great and am certainly looking forward to another great year. More!
Hmm, so tell us about these “embarrassing experiences” then.. :p
