Hi Hywel;
I was just wondering if there was any chance that we might one day see the original footage of the recent video – Ivy Red Zapped. Whilst the film looked to be very good (it was downloaded with great expectation) I found the edited piece a bit of a disappointment – allowing only glimpses, in proper contrast of the beautiful Ivy and her feet, before going into some kind of hallucinogenic blur, followed by a rotation. I appreciate the ‘musc video’ idea, but it really did not work for me – which is a real shame because, as I said, the original footage loks as though it might be exceptional.
Sorry to soung like I am complaining – heck I’ve been a member here for years and this is the first time I have felt compelled to express a negative thougt about a set/film.

Ah well… win a few, lose a few. I’ll see what I can do. There actually were several technical problems with the shooting which meant we didn’t get clean takes to tell the story coherently, which is why we opted for a music video. I’ll have a look back and see if the footage is salvagable for a less stylised (and clearer to see) version.
Hey, don’t worry about complaining- it is much better to know what people think, especially about more experimental stuff.
