My theory is the more polls I put up the more chance of one of them being shot!!! I decided to write a story with this one and a background. Sorry if its too long. I’m just in the mood for writing. Feedback would be appreciated (including if someone could please tell me how to spell magistraight!!!)

To combat both the increasing rates of petty crimes and prison population levels the government has passed a new bill that allows magistriates to impose alternate punishments and on people who commit minor crimes to keep them out of prison. The belief is that this alternate punishment would embarress the individual an stop them from re-offending and a “zero-tolerance” approach would be taken towards all crimes. One of these such measures involves stripping the individuals clothes off them and parading them through a public area fully chained. Then they would be chained in a very public area (like in a shopping centre), arms above head to stop them covering themselfves up in any way. The individual could be left like this for vast periods of time.

Kelli was 20 years old. She had beautiful dark hair and face and body to match it. She could have easy been a model. It was a Monday morning. Kelli had been out of work for 6 weeks but was starting a new job as a recptionist that day. She spent all morning in front of the mirror doing herself up, she wanted to impress her bosses and colleagues by looking her best for her first day. She was wearing a bussiness suit/short skirt/stocking combination and it just looked fantastic. “Shit” said Kelli, she looked at her watch again, but she hadn’t misread it, so she quickly finished up, grabbed her keys and darted out the front door and headed down the road to the bus stop.

She made it to the bus stop just as the bus was about to pull up. Just as Kelli was thinking how lucky she was she realised she forgot her purse and she had absolutaly no money on her. She looked at her watch and realised that she didn’t have time to go back home and get some money and still be able to make it to work on time. “Bugger it” she thought and jumped on anyway. She walked up to the ticket validation machine, pretented to validate her ticket and sat down and began to relax.

It was just two stops before Kelli’s stop when her luck turned even worse. It was a female transit officer getting on the bus. What would she do. Kelli suddenly remembered the new zero tolerance laws that had come into effect just recently. What was she doing taking a rediculace risk like this for? The officer eventually reached Kelli, and she tryed, without succsess to explain her story.

The officer asked Kelli to get to her feet and to place her hands on her head. She then pulled her arms one by one and placed them in handcuffs. At the next stop they both got off and they walked to the police station that was a 10 minute walk away. All the way Kelli was pleading her case but the officer wasn’t interested.

When they reached the station Kelli was told to sit in chair and wait. She stuggled her arms and looked at her watch…it was 9:05am, she was late, but that was the least of her worries. Kellie was left in the chair for hours, handcuffed behind her back. She kept checking her watch: 9:45, 10:35, 11:05, 11:35, 11:55, 12:10, 12:15, 12:18, 12:19, when would they come back. Finally the same transit officer came back and asked Kelli to follow her. She took her into a small room and explained to her the new zero tolerance laws and told her she was being charged with fare evasion. She also told her she would face a magistraight that afternoon.
She then had her handcuffs removed from behind her back but then they were reattached in front of her. A belly chain was then added and the cuffs were chained onto this. The officer then locked a pair of legirons just above her shoes and a chain was also then attached that ran from her legirons to her belly chain.

Shortly after this Kelli was walked next door to the courthouse. It was now starting to look like justice did more swiftly under these new laws.

Kelli stood before the magistraigt and he handed down his verdict – She was guilty. He decided that her punishment should be that she spent a whole day nude in public and tomorrow would be the day. But for toinght she would be kept in the police lock up.

Moring came. There was a bang on the cell door. Kelli looked sleepily at her watch – 5am. They weren’t going to let her be late. 5 minutes later breakfast was delivered through a little slot and at 5:30 a policewoman came into Kelli’s cell. Time to strip down she said. Kelli was still wearing her clothes from the day before. She slowly removed her clothes. Firstly her jacket, then her shirt, followed by her skirst and then her stockings so that she was left standing in jsut her bra and undies. “Those too” the policewoman said “…but you can keep your watch on and count down the hours”. Kelli looked at her the policewoman and wasn’t sure if she was a very unfunny woman trying to be funny or a nasty bitch rubbing it in.

Either way Kelli was left standing there naked. The police woman then proceed to apply her restraints, the same style as those she was taken to court in the day before. “We’re leaving at 6:15” the police woman said. Kelli checked the time and she would have 20 minutes to think about the hell she was about to face.

The policewoman returned to the cell and they walked out of it. Immeadiately Kelli could feel eyes on her. All the police was checking her out, prisoners didn’t usually look this good!
They stepped outside the station and the air was cool. Kelli’s nipples immediatley went hard but she couldn’t covr them. The policewoman explained to Kelli they would walk around until 9 am. The whole time people stared at Kelli. She had never been so embarresed. And these were people she didn’t even know.

When 9 o’clock came Kelli was taken to the front of the busisest store in the city. Her belly chain was removed. Kelli immediately pull her arms over her breasts. Her legirons were then removed but this was quckly replaced with a spreader bar. Her arms were then raised above her head and attached to a chain. There was no way she could hide her nudity. Finally as a final act of indignaty a bit gag was placed in her mouth. As the day passed people stared. Some stopped to look. Then a news crew came to record footage for a story on the new zero tolerance laws. So many people Kelli knew saw her. Her friends, ex-boyfriends, family and even a few of her new workmates (though she didn’t know if she still had that job after not turning up!). She kept looking up to try to read her watch. From what she could make out the day was moving very quickly at all. Finally 6 O’Clock came. The chains that Kelli arrived in were put back on and she was walked back to the station. She was given back her clothes which she quickly put back and and at 7 o’clock she was released. “What an experience that was” Kelli thought. She was angry at her self for taking such a silly risk but even angrier at the stupid laws.
