Hi All;

So I finish work tomorrow and am setting off on the usual round of travelling to families and friends across the UK – it is a slightly bizarre concept that you look forward to the holidays for a break and then do everything but relax! I fully expect to return to work in January as knackered as I am now, albeit a bit fatter and vowing never to go near turkey again (incidentally, why oh why do they not make the hats in crackers just a little bit larger for those of us with a bigger head!).

That being the case tonight is likely the final occasion in 2008 I will get the chance to stop by the site (although I got an ipod touch the other day, CD turned 30!, so might sneak the odd peak when nobody is looking!) and so wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2009.

For this member 2008 has been another great year for RE. We have been treated to new photographers (OK so many of those weren’t all that new to us – they’d been knocking around here for a while – but it is only really this year that their creative input has been seen on the site), new models (I think all of us members can be proud of selecting Amy Allen as our bondage X factor winner this year – she looks to be a real find and I hope that Hywel continues to work with her), some memorable shoots (the RE road trips look as though they are great to be part of and the results are so completely different to anything you might see on any other bondage website) and most of all the continuation of the RE community that has developed through this forum and (also new in ’08??) the chat room. It has been great spending the year with you, getting to know you all a little bit more than I did last year!

On a personal level the absolute highlight of the year (well in terms of my RE double life!) has to be the bondage tutorial I attended in November. It was great to finally meet Hywel and Ariel – in 3D! – and I learnt some stuff too. It is certainly a day that will stay with me for a very long time and a further example of an initiative pretty unique to RE.

Finally I would like to thank Hywel and Ariel for their efforts on this site for another year. I guess with a site like this it would be all too easy to slip into a rut and produce the same old stuff day after day however your obvious enthusiasm for what you both do and your attention to detail continues to keep the site fresh. It is a credit to you both. I am delighted that you have found each other and wish you both a fantastic Christmas in the new house.
