Hi All,
We just got back from an awesome one week video shoot on location in Norfolk with the lovely Ariel Anderssen, Janey, Katy Cee and Temptress Kate, and Steve and myself behind the camera (with Ariel and Kate alternating between their on-screen roles and directing and other crew duties too).
We shot about twenty video updates for RE which is an amazing number especially given that we were trying to shoot in the slower but more glamorous filmic style that our new camera and video gear allows us to attempt. Everyone was great to work with, pitching in at whatever was required with a smile and a can-do attitude and while the trip was utterly exhausting I think it was also one of the best video shoots we’ve ever done.
We’d gone back to the location we shot at in Norfolk last year for this shoot deliberately, because we have discovered it is a LOT easier to write scripts when you are reasonably familiar with the location. Not only did we pack in twenty RE videos, we also managed to shoot two longer videos intended for http://www.elegancestudios.com: Ariel’s “Haunted” video (three girls in a haunted house, naturally menaced and tied up…) and the Slave Auction video which we hope will do justice to some of the great ideas and suggestions you have posted. You can see a few framegrabs as teasers for those videos over on the Elegance Studios blog, and here are some framegrabs from a few of the RE videos.
By the way please note that these are video frames straight off the camera, no post production at all done yet. The most important stage of that is called the grade, which is where I dial in the “film” look of the colours and saturation, so remember that these images are just the very first glimpses of the footage, not the final product!
I need to get cracking on editing the videos over the summer- expect to see the first updates in a month or two, and trailers for the long EleganceStudios videos on about the same timescale if I can fit in editing those too!

Hi Everyone. I hope everyone is doing well.
I just wanted to make a quick post on several of the coming sets and videos mentioned in this thread as well as on the June Podcast. I’ve seen the trailer for the slave auction video. This looks like it will become an instant classic and I’ll be looking forward to seeing the full piece when the editing is finished. I loved that you were able to work in the idea of the ladies being chained together and lead through the night to their new fate. It is a wonderful and powerful image.
I think the bondage party video as a lot of potential as there are many possible paths it can take. It should be a fun video. The same thing applies for the haunted mansion video. Again there are a lot of different ways you can take it and it will be fun to see if the sprits are evil or playful or something in between.
The finishing school is another classic theme for bondage work so I sure the RE team will do a great job bringing that one to life as well.

OMG, I cannot tell you how much fun the Norfolk shoot was. We’re lucky to work with some great models, but Katy and Janey just surpassed everything we could possibly have expected from them. Both of them tried things they hadn’t done before and had a go at playing characters very (fortunately) different from their ‘real life’ selves.
And I did have so much fun! Steve had written a couple of really super ideas, including a story about kidnapped flight attendants (the costumes were FAB) and a sort of ladies-only bondage toy party. And Kate’s story about a finishing school was brilliant fun to shoot. I didn’t even mind being the domme too much because she had such a good reason to tie her students up 🙂
Brilliant brilliant brilliant! I do hope that people will enjoy the videos as much as we enjoyed filming them. Hywel always corrects me when I call our location shoots ‘holidays’ but this shoot was tremendously like one.
