Rest in peace Bettie Page 22nd April 1923 – 11th Dec 2008 🙁

Ok so her best work was a couple of decades before I was born but I still appreciate her work greatly, as I’m sure to many others. Can’t help but think this site, infact the whole scene owe a debt of gratitude to Page / Klaw for their taboo breaking work. When I think about how conservative the majority of society is now it seems amazing anyone could produce such work 50 years or so ago. Groundbreaking.

Wondering how RE could quickly put together a tribute set…. drawing a bit of a blank. I’ve seen how well Ariel can do retro pinup so she’d have to be my first choice, any chance of AA temporarily dying that lovely hair black or is there a suitable wig I’ve never seen? does it matter? I guess location could be domestic and rope rigging relatively “conventional”.

Good idea/bad idea?

If production’s quick enough it might be a nice PR stunt to circulate a couple of such images to various community portals on the tribute premise thus getting the RE brand out and about.. Just a thought.
