I hope everyone is doing well. This thread is primarily a big “Thank You” post to Hywel, Steve, Temptress Kate, Ariel and particularly to Sabrina for the “Shackled and Sold” video that went up on the site this week. Restrained Elegance is well known for it’s high production quality behind the camera as well as some very lovely and talented ladies appearing in front of the camera and like many site members I have a number of personal favorites. One of my special favorites is Sabrina. It’s often hard to explain exactly why a certain lady seems to push a lot of your personal “buttons” but Sabrina was one of my favorites on another site I was a short term member on and then when she darkened and lengthened her hair and began making more frequent visits to RE well things were taken to another level. It’s inevitable that models will retire and I was sorry to hear that Sabrina chose to do so but taking care of an infant and raising a family with her husband certainly has a higher priority than being on the site. So it is not hard to understand why I was very pleased to learn during the most recent forum chat session that Sabrina would be coming out of retirement to do a days shooting with RE at the “castle” location. So I decided to suggest a basic scenario to Hywel for a photo set, or ideally a video, with Sabrina. I like seeing the bondage being applied as well as the fully applied bondage and I like the five point steel shackle set that Ariel has worn in several sets so I suggested either a “Fumanchu” inspired scene (given the castle environment) or a slave auction scenario showing Sabrina initially secured to a bed and then being progressively locked into the five point restraint and then taken to another room and then tethered to something to await her fate.

Hywel was kind enough to respond and said they would see what they could do but that obviously with only one day of shooting with Sabrina being available it may or may not work out. Of course I understood the possible limitations and said if the time allowed for it great and if it did not well then “nothing ventured, nothing gained.” There are a lot of bondage websites out there these days and I have no idea how many of them will take site member requests let alone how many of those that do that will try to do justice to what the member suggested. Hywel actually asked if he could substitute using the SM Factory collar and cuffs rather than the five point shackle set used with Ariel because it would be far to big to look good on Sabrina. I doubt too many sites have that level of concern both for the feelings of a site member but also for the quality of the product so a big thank you to Hywel on that score. As if that was not enough Hywel then emailed me a month later to offer an apology for forgetting to bring the wardrobe I had suggested in my request. I was very pleased that he and the production and modeling team were able to do my request so any minor wardrobe problem was not that big an issue to me and so while un-needed in the grand scheme of things, Hywel’s email was and is definitely a class act.

Now as far as the video was concerned I was extremely pleased with the way it came out. Sabrina played the damsel in distress oh so very well and Ariel’s domme persona also was spot on. I very much enjoyed seeing and hearing the metal cuffs and the chains being locked on Sabrina and then seeing the lovely lady tethered outside awaiting the pick up van (now where did I leave the keys to that van….?) The outside location for the second half of the video was unexpected but it added a real nice touch to the video as I very much enjoy RE’s outside work. Hywel had mentioned on the member’s home page that there was a lot of ambient road noise when they got to the castle location and that made video work difficult. You could hear some in the background and I assume that is why a music sound track was used for the outdoor portion of the video which worked very well. Nice touch whoever thought of adding the music. Also it was a great touch to use the extended pan out at the end of the video. I thought that worked very well indeed. About the only possible down side is that we didn’t get to hear much of Sabrina during the video.

Anyway, as I had said previously I doubt there are all that many bondage sites that will take members requests to begin with, let alone show the time and care that RE does so many thanks to Hywel, Steve and Kate for working the request into the shooting schedule for the location trip and for the production efforts. Thanks also to Ariel for her role in front of the camera. Of course my special thanks go out to Sabrina for coming out of retirement and for agreeing to do the video. It was wonderful to see you in front of the camera again (looking as lovely as ever) and I certainly appreciated your efforts in the video. I do hope you’ll consider doing it again a time or two or at least drop by RE long enough to do an installment of Ariel’s Video Diary with a nice long interview or perhaps one of the forum chats. In any event my “Thanks” to all and it’s easy to see why RE is such a high quality site…. It’s such high quality people.
