Hi All,
I need a bit of help from you all. As it is summer and the only shoots I have planned are location shoots, I have a bit of time to revamp and renew some stuff in the studio, ready for the next round of shoots in Autumn.
What I’m after is ideas for sets (backgrounds, rooms, settings, etc) which I can build in the studio which look great and… absolutely critically… will not cost very much money to create!
I’m not the world’s greatest set builder but I may have some help on that score so we can possibly be a little more ambitious than before, but the finances of the site and studio are very tight just at the moment so again it has to be done on a shoestring. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

A couple of thoughts on this one. We discussed in here a while back (about the time King Kong got discussed) the idea of more damsels in distress scenes at RE (i.e. bond girl, penelope pitstop or general film/TV heroine). With this in mind how about…
1; A few years ago you did a good set of Missey tied to a pole (she was in a rather good orange PVC catsuit if memory serves me correctly) something I always thought was lacking from that set was that the pole was never lifted up. Therefore how about a ‘captured in the jungle’ scene (you might even use the sandy set you have been using recently) where the model (our damsel in distress) ends up tied to what would have to be a fairly sturdy pole (dressed to look natural-like) and held, aloft, face down (so some kind of support either end of the pole) over a ‘camp fire’ (orange tissue paper??).
2; You have never done that classic in film and TV bondage the ‘tied to the railway tracks scene’. You must be able to knock up some railway tracks out of wood and it would present an opportunity to shoot in some period costumes (to truly re-enact those old films).
3; I know you have done pirate scenes in the past but I don’t recall the pirate ever finding an heiress on the ship they were pirating – stripping her of her jewels and fancy clothes – tying her up and forcing her to shuffle (bare feet bound) down the plank.
Anyone think of their favourite film bondage scene to re-enact??
In addition to those I have two other requests/ideas.
4; MORE TICKLING – the recent Jenny army set was bang on the money. Bound woman struggling against her bonds whilst being tickled (do I need to emphasise feet?? – thought not) will always get a smile from me.
5; We need to think of scenes/situations that put the flexibility of both Paige and Roxanne to the test. Both (esp Paige) have attributes not before seen at RE – lets put them through their paces!!!

Ps – was reading Flemings Bond books on holiday (you must read them – they are refreshingly politically incorrect) starting with Casino Royale (the first Fleming wrote and soon to be released as a film with the sodding blonde bond). I only mention it because the bond girl in the book (I will not give the story away – I too am awaiting the film) is kidnapped and subdued by lifting her dress above her head and tying it. This lead me to wonder how effective this might be – though it probably would not make for the most exciting RE sets
Have you considered a prison cell as one of your sets?
OOh, Lockjaw! I like the prison cell idea, I’ve always wanted to be arrested… That could be an opportunity for lots of dangerous looking RE residents, looking a bit dishevelled, handcuffed to the bars and strip searched… yum 🙂
You had a poll on this back in January, and so I can just cut-and-paste what I posted then: ‘I voted for the “Luxury house/5 star hotel” but what I’d really like to see is a “harem” set, in the fantasy/sinbad/arabian nights style: Rugs, pillows, silk hangings, hanging bead curtains, etc.’
You talk tough Ariel, but we haven’t seen you as a cat burglar yet. :;):

Ariel, it all sounds good to me. If the prison cell is not available, remember the cage is on stand-by. :laugh2

Some years back Harmony did a couple of time laps pieces (if that is the right term) showing a model bound for a long period of time. Time passage was indicated by the clock advancing and in at least one case lighting and shadows moving. As time went by the damsel showed progressive signs of fatigue. They started out freash but as time went on they would slump in their restraints, their hair would become stringie, their heads would droop and they would become resigned to their situation.
It was faked of course, I really don’t see a model willing to spend 10 plus hours bound while a picture was snaped every 15 minutes.
You have done sets recently showing girls in long term bondage but for the most part it has been someone comming on a damsel who has been there for a while and would be after they left them to it. This would be more a “lady in waiting” theme.
The best I recal was with a model I didn’t really care for, but her situation haunted me. I believe she wore corset, stockings and those high heeled boots Harmony was so famious for. The last touch was black opera gloves. Her arms were bound behind her back and she was wearing a cleve gag. Her legs were not restained at all but she was collared and leashed. The leash was looped over a hook on a post over her head allowing some play but not enough for her to reach a barstool (pictured in the background but out of reach) and she could not sit or neal. Through the course of a dozen pictures she spent several hours wandering as much as the leash allowed, leaning against the post or streaching the leash out and waiting for who ever put her there to come back.
Another would be a girl in a great hall or nice library wandering about while bound or cuffed (behind her back for my taste) after being told to “wait here” and left. As an ornate clock ticked away I imagine she would try doors, see if the phone (if there were one) worked, or discover the desk drawers were locked. Remember Story of “O” when she was droped at the Chatue with her hands bound at the wrist behind her back and dripping wet from the rain? She was placed in a room to wait.
Last would be a girl in a small room, perhaps a cabin in the woods shot from the inside. She could wear anything. The cowgirl set paige used would be good but it could be a the sort of dress and heels she would wear for a causal date. Then again she could be in the office uniform of white blouse, short black skirt and black high heels. Those are important but I suppose could be lost as time went on if they had to be. Her wrist would be bound or cuffed behind her back. If her upper arms are bound it needs to be somewhat loose, Not elbows touching. That looks great but she’s going to be here a long time. She would be teathered to a cot or bed either by an ankel shakle or long chain but there needs to be about three feet of play. I would not gag her.
The light source is a window. Passing time is marked by shadows getting longer and the room getting darker.
She passes the time testing the restraints on her wrist, and her ankel chain. She can sit on the bed, lie down, stand and pace inside the arc of the chain, perhaps lean back against the wall and look heavenward.
She has no clock but knows after sundown her lover, or kidnapper, will return for her.
Were it me, the last shot would be of her in the dark room looking over her shoulder at a strip of light from a door starting to open.Hi all;
Whilst I stand by all that I wrote above regarding possible sets involving sets and scenery etc, today’s set (Jamey bound on that leather couch) should prove as a good reminder that even the most simple sets (beautiful model well-bound in relatively modest surroundings – bed, couch, on a table) can be devastatingly effective – and something Hywel has always been very good at. Today’s update was amazing – well done.
Continuing the theme started by Lockjaw re. a prison set – how about some medieval dungeon/prison? That way we could have a costume set – bound with arms stretched out and aloft against a medieval castle wall – perhaps followed by some form of torture to get the captive to talk (how about that Chinese water torture – you know the constant dripping on the captives head).
I have also had on my mind in recent times a set ‘tickling the town tart/wench’ I am sure I have read about this somewhere – though it may have been in one of those adult publications where I may have been better off looking at the pictures! – but it was something to do with if a woman of ill-repute was found with someone else’s man she was sat in some contraption with her bare feet in stocks at one end and her arms held somewhat aloft in some more stocks/straps (exposing her armpits) and everyone in the village was at liberty to come and tickle the captive with a feather. Just an idea.
