A few thoughts off the top of my head:

o Testing the slavegirls for ticklishness.

o A loose & filmy covering over a slavegirl that can be whisked away by the auctioneer to start the bidding or to get the bidding to heat up.

o Having a slavegirl recite her “vital statistics” to potential buyers. Maybe include sizes for collar and for wrist & ankle cuffs, along with height, weight, age, bra size, etc.

o Honest Omar tells a slavegirl that she’s to put on the appearance of being utterly miserable & dejected, for a certain buyer. The buyer comes in, and she can’t do it – she tries, but she keeps giggling, or otherwise blows the act.

o Two (or more) slavegirls arguing with each other, telling the buyers why they should buy her, and not that other girl.

o Extravagant claims made for a slavegirl by the auctioneer, with the slavegirl telling the buyers that they’re not true – until she is gagged. (“This beauty is a real Jungle Girl! The daughter of a Duke, her family was lost at sea and then she was raised by minks on the exotic isle of Madagascar!” “Actually, my parents were shopkeepers, and I grew up in Newport.”)

Visually how about a darkened room with a bright spot light shining down creating a pool of light.

The merchandise could be brought into the pool of light and then the cloak or robe could be slipped off.

Maybe the auction “block” could be some kind of revolving pedestal.

I would like to see some kind of back stage scene before the auction itself.
Imagine a model tied down while a group of hench-women swarm around her doing her hair and appling makeup to her face and body like a pit crew servicing a race car.

When I think slave auction, I instantly think all the classic drawings by Alazar – girls with see-through veils and loincloths and nothing else, chains everywhere, etc. Googling them should hand you some inspiration.

On my own, I think the mood might be very important. Elegance slave auctions should be more than just a warehouse somewhere… Establishing shots of a full moon, the whisper of ill intent amongst the grasses, a parade of chained-together, naked girls walking barefoot through the fields under a starry sky with their new master leading the way. (“Arabian niiiiiights…” Just kidding. ;)) And since this is RE, they’re giggling and talking amongst themselves even as the master tells them to shut it.

For the flashback, you could maybe paralell your own progress? If you still have the very first RE camera lying about – the one you used to film all those two minute archive classics – that might work. Grainy, maybe even black and white or at least seventies bad quality, and a girl in sloppy ropework and an ineffective gag tied in a garage somewhere. You could maybe even do a montage with the same girl, with the materials, location and video quality steadily getting better (“Honest Omar’s! Now in HD!”).

For scenes… well, I’m a man who likes some bare skin meself (:P), so I’m going to advocate the clothes come off as quickly as possible, replaced with see-through materials (ala the Alazar bit above). This is a sales pitch, after all: you don’t sell a car in a box, you sell them as-is and then the customer can customise them afterwards. At the same time, see-through materials provide that extra incentive: you need to buy to remove them.

I see this as the client choosing one of x girls, so of course he needs to test the girls. Tickling, as has been stated. Nipple clamps. How different gags look. Meanwhile, the girls could be bragging about their various areas of expertice (“I can take a bigger gag than that, just you watch!”) and offer help (“If I may, sir, you’re slightly off with that clothespin. A bit… OW! That’s the spot”). Now I don’t know how kinky you want to get here, but a repeat of the Ariel vibrator scene might be an idea? All girls tied with a vibrator to their youknowwhats, and the client wants to see who can hold herself the longest?

At nighttime, when the client retreats to contemplate his choice, how about tying all the girls together (back to back or even boob to boob if there’s two of them, maybe frogtied and arm-in-arm-in-arm if there’s three)? Complete with incessant bickering, so eventually poor Omar has to gag them to get some sleep?

If we go with the choosing one routine, there has to be a final scene in which the client chooses. I have this image in my head of lots of jewelry (bondage-y things such as nipple clamps and necklace cleave gags included), gleaming chains binding hands behind backs and also a crotchro…, er chain, elaborate hairstyles, and no clothing at all. The client chooses… and then the winner finds herself packaged. All the jewels come off, she’s wrapped up with duct tape (including gag), stuffed in a box, and the client takes off. (I have this image of Ariel winning, and this scene including her most indignant expression. You know the one.)

So that’s my ideas. Hope they can provide some inspiration!

Nine and a half years ago!!! Crikey! Yeah I remember we tried the moonlit shots before even getting unpacked at Wales on my first ever RE location shoot 🙂 Ah, memories!

Pagan processions…. hmm. I am off to the Beltaine Fire Festival in Edinburgh on April 30th and shall try to bring back some inspiration!!

I’ve been giving this a some thought.

You said it was a modern setting.

How about a group of elegantly dressed women who believe they have signed up (or been signed up by the man in their life) in a charity auction at a private club.

Instead of being auctioned off for a silly dinner date they are being auctioned off in a form of wife swapping for a weekend of whips and chains and sexual slavery.

One idea is that the women are sitting in a waiting room drinking champaign. They are making small talk about how they have been feeling really strange all week. They all relate having vivid sexual dreams and feeling very horny. One woman says that her husband refused all her advances,
and the others chime in with similar stories.

During this conversation the women are almost squirming in their seats, Crossing and un-crossing their legs.

Ariel enters(with a helper or two?) and tells them she is there to prepare them for the auction. She refills their glasses with the special champaign and then blindfolds all the women.

While the others continue to chat and sip their spiked drink, one woman is helped to her feet and swiftly gagged. Her mood quickly changes as she is grabbed, undressed, examined, and bound.
The twist is that here she is struggling and her friends are blindfolded and oblivious a few feet away. One by one the others receive the same treatment.
