HI All,
Restrained Elegance is very proud to present our very first forum slavegirl portraits. You’ve seen her post on the site, and today she flew to London to do a shoot with me just for fun. Here are a couple of samples hot off the camera of the lovely “Pling”.
I’ll put together a proper Slavegirl Portrait Gallery and tell you all a bit more about the shoot and what we did when I have chance to catch up (Chanta’s just got back into the UK so I have a busy couple of weeks coming up!)
Anyway it was a real delight to meet, tie up and take photographs of you today… hope you’ll post and let us all know what you thought of the day. :heybabe :smooch :heybabe :smooch :heybabe :smooch
Oh by the way- that was her FIRST EVER suspension! 🙂 :devil :devil :devil

November 12, 2006 at 00:04 #10862Whoa, amazing!
I didn’t expect the pictures to turn out so classy. If you wouldn’t have it announced, I couldn’t distinguish these two photos from a shooting with a professional model.
And “Pling” looks absolutely gorgeous. I am really looking forward for the full set! 🙂
November 12, 2006 at 09:17 #10863Lady, you look good! I’m envious – beautiful pictures. Hope you had a lovely time – what an exciting new development 🙂
November 12, 2006 at 15:09 #10864.. a star is born?..
Well done Pling
and..
wow!
Have to agree with Marius, very professional. My ex is going to be jealous as hell about this (jojo), she’s got some issues currently but would love to follow your lead. I’ve been trying to coax her for ages and to be honest I’m not sure setting the bar this high is going to help.. Very nice work, hope you all had fun.
Lets not forget Hywels input either, who else would do this? That first image in particular is stunning, assuming it gets rotated a bit it could be a classic.
Cheers
M
November 12, 2006 at 17:59 #10865LOL yes the processing was VERY quick and dirty, I will do a proper job for the actual portrait gallery.
I really hope we haven’t put JoJo off!!! I may post one or two of the very first shots with did with Pling, to show how important it is to light someone right for their look.
I had a lighting setup ready from the evening before, when I shot a local model called Sara who wanted some glamour pics for her portfolio. She was very tanned and had reddish dark brown hair.
When we used that same setup on Pling, who is Scandinavian and hence of a very fair complection, she looked like a ghost! So the first twenty or thirty shots were spent turning various lights on and off and up and down until we had a look that brought out her lovely features much more for the camera. (The light we used for Pling usedon Sara would have made her look like a badly-drawn cartoon).
After every set or two we downloaded the photos and looked at them on the PC (there’s no substitute for that- the LCD preview screen even on a pro camera is pretty poor by comparison). We figured out which shots we liked- which poses worked, which lighting worked, which angles worked. So as the day went on the sets got more and more striking and the “hit rate” of good shots went up and up.
There are very, very few people in the world who look good in all sorts of light. So the most important thing for me in the first photoshoot with anyone is trying to find at least one lighting set-up that looks STUNNING. 🙂 That’s my job, that what’s I do 🙂
So JoJo- I’m sure if we did the same thing we would find some lighting which will really make you glow in the photos too! :smooch
Cheers, Hywel.

November 13, 2006 at 17:39 #10867Great Pics! Well Done Pling (and Hywel)!
Have to agree with Merlin about that first picture – I *really* like it. There is something about it that just works.
And I must admit, I am getting just a little bit jealous with all this suspending going on….!
So who’s next in the Slavegirl Portrait Gallery? Exciting innit?

Well, then you should really wear them more often! And hopefully somewhere where we can watch you! :devil
Seriously: I admire that you have been so courageous. And it paid off: You had fun, we have fun, and I guess Hywel is well off, too.
So everybody is happier than before. Isn’t that wonderful? :spin

November 14, 2006 at 16:46 #10870pling, you are very brave to do this. And you look great! Glad to hear you like the metal and I hope to see more of you in it.
November 14, 2006 at 20:04 #10871Oh my!
When Hywel first suggested he shoot the forum slavegirls I remember writing that we RE regulars would be kind to you when we saw the photos. Added to this the slight reputation I have aquired for being totally uncritical of Hywels fantastic photography and site you might think I am just saying;
“Pling you are absolutely fantastic. You have the look of Hywels professional models, you do submissive better than certain of Hywels professional models you are brave, you do suspension, you do barefoot… heck I am in awe and I can’t wait to see the full sets”
to be kind. HELL NO – what an absolute find. Well done – will there be a sequel?
Come on the rest of you (yes you Emma H and JoJo) follow where Pling has led the way.

I guessed wrong. I thought it was from the sound of a handcuff bouncing off stone. :;):
November 20, 2006 at 22:03 #10876Hmmmm…… Never thought of it like that :;): maybe I should try to use that explanation instead and see what people think :p
