What do you like to see? Do you like to see the girl gagged from the start, or do you prefer to see her gagged as part of the storyline?

I voted for “ungagged” because I’d like to see fewer gags. Ideally I’d like to see a mix of ungagged and gagged, with mostly the former.
OTOH I’m aware that lots of folk like gags, and that some have the same attitude toward gags that I have toward bare feet: “If the model isnt gagged/barefoot she isn’t in bondage, she’ just… tied up.”
Digging myself in deeper, while small ballgags can be cute, I think big ball gags are overused (on bondage websites in general, rather than on Restrained Elegance in particular). Also, I don’t care much for ring gags or inflatable gags, and don’t care at all for (ick) drooling.
I voted for no gags for the following reasons.
a) I like to imagine there’s some dialogue going on i.e. the young lady protesting or pleading or whatever.
b) How can she make those pouty, annoyed/scared expressions with a massive great ball stuck in her mouth?
c) Take one beautiful girl (prime example – the casino cheat set), add one harness gag and hey presto, you can barely see her face with all the straps. She’s lovely, let’s see her face please.
d) Drool, it’s not attractive, don’t understand the fascination, sorry.
Having said all that, cleave gags are alright i suppose as they don’t inhibit points b or c too much but I’d much rather, if we must have them, they were added part way through rather than right from the start.
Also – couldn’t agree more with Lurker on the ball gags.
Finally – I think you’re getting the mix about right (if you left out the harness gags completely that is).
There’s a definite split between the “if she isn’t gagged she isn’t in bondage” and the “gags block 80% of her emotions and expressions” crowds I reckon.
Personally I like gags if it fits in the storyline- the casino one for example was meant to be a strong contrast between the ultra-elegant surroundings and clothes and the kinky, severe fetish look of the harness. I thought it was a contrast that strenthened the set by emphasising how helpless it made the dealer look.
I think I should have added it halfway through the set, in retrospect, but can’t think of everything!
What do other people think?? Did you like that set or hate it?

I’m very much a “gag snob”, so I would like to see gags (and especially on-screen gagging) in any photoset, How about some mouthpacking once in a while? Those sets, in which models get their clothes cut off would be perfect for this: Cut off her panties, stocking whatever and push it into her mouth before taping it shut. Well, I am a dreamer. :grinningI think the basic ball gag added later in the set is a good way to go. Seeing a beautifull women gagged is a turn on!
A horse bit is fine for pony play, but looks clunky otherwise. I perfer no gag to cloth or tape.
I’d like to see a few shots in each set with a ball gag, but mostly ungagged, as someone else said gags are a nice touch but tend to block a lot of emotion
I like seeing the bondage build up throughout the set but it’s got to end in a gagging for me…I put ballgag but I like a variety.
i agreee in the build up thing. Baal as favorite but bit – ring – harness is great too.

Apart from the (admittedly limited) functions of a ball gag (a little quiet, a sense of helplessness and surrender) the gag also accentuates the checkbones and gives the face a lovely shape.
Ballgag! Like hearing girls grunting and trying to speak with one in the mouth.
I vote for the Top-to-Bottom penis gag, applied after the shoot starts.
I agree with Barrie: a great deal of what makes your production so much more interesting is the dialogue. It seems a shame to take it away.
I agree with lurker, I like to see pouting, and other “how can you do this to me!” and “please let me go, I will be good” expressions on the models faces.
So while I am not against gags, I feel they can get in the way of this.
I could have voted for most replies: In fact, i suppose it mostly depends on the situation and the particula fantasy depicted:
The classical damsel in distress is fine with a tight, knotted or unknotted scarf gag… Sexual bondage fantasy works well with a ring gag whereas slavegirl fantasy is best ungagged.
Fetish bondage scenes are best, in my opinion with ballgags and modern D.i.D. situation is fine with a single strip of tape gag (i find that many strips hide too much of the model’s face).@lurker wrote:

I agree. I do like well fitted ballgags. No teeth should be visible. You want the ball to look like it’s an extension of the lips.
With especially pretty models I’d like to see shots both with and without gags. I’d also like a mix of simple and harness ball gags; the harness gags are more inescapable (which is important) but they often cover too much.
I also dislike ring gags, inflatable gags and (too much) drooling.
Put me down as a gag afficionado also. I particularly like the symbolism of the penis gag. Ring gags and ball gags are also quite nice. The idea of using her knickers as a gag is also appealing.
I too like ballgags, not too big, but well fitted. Can’t explain for sure why I favour red ballgags (absolutely don’t like ring gags, bit gags cleave gags), maybe because they make a girl look so delicious, so helpless, so sexy too.
I love RestrainedElegance for presenting such beautiful models and such wonderful elegance in bondage. Keep it up! And don’t forget to add ballgags in some shots of each set (well, maybe not in those with a history plot). And I would like to see more videos with ballgags:)
Thank you for your patience in reading this:) A “thank you” to Hywell and to all the models of RestrainedEleganceI personally like the ballgag the best, preferably in the colour bright red or pink. The large ones are well kinky, and the small ones are really cute in a naughty kind of way.
I love the ‘head harness’ ballgags, you know the ones which straps all around the head of the wearer and creates the ‘triangle’ shape on the face. They also feature a chin strap as well. These are my absolute favourite because they really do give the ‘impression’ that the woman is in proper captivated bondage; the straps around the face give off the ‘humiliation’ factor (especially if the straps are done tightly which distorts the face); the drooling adds to the effect, and when a chain or rope is attached to the top ‘O’ ring connection at the top of the head and pulled back (so she cannot lower her head and so everyone can see her face) it is quite humiliatingly beautiful.
I also like ‘panel’ gags as well, they give the extreme, ‘total-silence’ effect. Again if this panel is on a head harness then even better.
The medical gags are quite nice…you know the metal steel ones where you can adjust the width of the opening from the side. These sorts of ‘gags’ really do stretch and open the mouths…!
Not into cloth or tape gags at all, and not really into inflatable or bite gags.
Not too fond of ‘O’-ring gags, unless the ‘O’-ring is big…
As for the drooling issue from gags, personally I love it because it gives the ‘humilaition’ effect that the slave cannot do much to stop it.
AnonymousI voted for ball gag. But what I would really like to say is: a RED ball gag, with BLACK leather straps. Preferably a head harness. (But make sure it’s a real ball gag… I know you have a head harness with some sort of oval red ball. I don’t like that one at all. The gag looks wierd, and the straps are way to thick.)
Personally I like no gag at the beginning with plenty of different expresions by he model and then a nice and tight ballgag, with plenty of expressions by the model and lots of drooling 🙂

I would say always try to have both for a set, gagged and un-gagged, that way everyone gets what they want!
