I don’t care whether it was Merlin or Ariel that came up with the idea to tie Ariel over the tree in Sweden – I just love the fact that Ariel keeps getting involved in these slightly more risky positions whilst shooting outside. Not sure whether I should be encouraging it though – there was the case of that rather precarious suspension from that frankly unsuitable looking tree on a previous shoot. Congratulations Ariel on your staying power – that tree did not look all that comfortable – and to Merlin for his skills in tying her to it (was Merlin a boy scout we wonder – I remember them being all about tying knots in the great outdoors though Baden Powell may have taken exception to the topless bondage model – I wonder if we could knock up a badge for him to sew to his sleeve?).

Reading through Ariel’s introduction to the set I think she may have proposed a future set:-

And then I remembered that in some historical institutions, girls were tied over special spanking ‘horses’ which would place them in a good position to be whipped, but with the added refinement of causing simultaneous pain to their pussies

Perhaps Hywel could source such a ‘horse’ – only in the interests of history you understand. Actually, come to think of it, are there any other historic tortures people know about that might worth adapting to an RE set – I had an initial scan through the internet (googled medieval tortures) but all that came up were perhaps a bit too horrific for the site. I seem to remember an episode of the Avengers where Mrs Peel (played by the delightful Diana Rigg) was captured in an English villages museum where they had on display some old torture devices – seem to recall her locked into some large chastity belt-type thing and eventually ended up on a ducking stool in the village pond (I think I may have the episode on DVD somewhere – I might cap it one of these days). Would be good to have some period torture sets back on the site again.
