The indoor shots are, of course, wonderful 🙂
It is those outdoor shots though, the scenery, the views, the models… it all just comes together so wonderfully!
Plus the look in the models eyes, *goes weak at the knees*
The second image, the lovely lady tied to the bridge railings really stood out to me, but then as I went on I realised the rest were just as striking, if not even more so!
Model tied to a tree by her hair! That is evil, inspired, and brilliant all at once 🙂 Humble apologies that I cannot put names to faces 😳
Pling hugging / cradling that rock… there is just something about the look in her eyes.
By the looks of things this was an incredibly successful trip, and many thanks to all concerned for bringing this off! It looks like I am going to have a lot of fun admiring the fruits of your labour 😀

I try to rate every set I look at, and I have always worked on the theory that 5 stars was best, but I have never been quite sure how to rate some of the “in between” sets. When I love it or hate a set it is easy, but what do 2, 3 or 4 stars mean?
Also I have always been strangely reluctant to give a 1 star rating. Partly this is because I prefer words when leaving a rating, but with words I try to always live by “if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing”.
So seeing the descriptions next to the stars is actually quite liberating for me, since I look at the words, consider my feelings about the set, and pick the words that are best. This allows me to ignore the whole “how many stars” question, so I view this as a very positive change. Hopefully it will help others as well, and more people will leave ratings.
As always the previews are really delightful, and very teasing! 🙂

merlin perhaps you are asking the wrong question, maybe this has already driven Hywel crazy. After all, it would explain why he spends all of his time stuck in a studio tying up incredibly attractive ladies instead of working in an office like a normal sane person.

Wow is certainly one reply 🙂 A few pictures stood out for me.
Firstly picture number 6, with the coffee gateau coloured dress. Probably not the official name of that colour, but that is what it reminds me of *gets hungry* – there is just something about the look in her eyes, its quite amazing!
Next the picture with the lady in the military uniform in what looks like a room full of smoke – there just has to be a story behind that, but what is the story? I suppose I am going to have to wait for the update to appear *sigh*
The very flexible lady doing the splits in mid air, wearing blue, with her ankles and wrists tied up. Am I really seeing what I seem to be seeing??? The muscular strength required to do that… *wow*
The two chairs, the two models one wearing black underwear and the other white underwear, the contracts and matches in colour, the way the whole thing sort of balances, another set I am really looking forward to seeing appear 🙂

I love the expressions in these stills. The changing look on Ariel’s face, she seems to be moving between joy and terror!
What are the red envelopes all about? There seems to be a few, perhaps 3 of them. I suppose all will become clear when the movies are posted, but I am curious and would like to know now.
I have long been fascinated by these types of ideas, and very occasionally come across pictures that show it.
The biggest concern is going to be doing it in an elegant manor. Most instances of this I have come across don’t seem to manage to be elegant, and I am not quite sure how to organise this so that it would be.
Having the guests all in formal outfits would help, but would it be enough? Certainly an interesting idea and thought experiment.

On a slightly more serious front, this is surprising news to me. But then again, it is traditional that I am one of the last people to hear the news.
What matters in the world is happiness, and it seems, both from what you two are saying, and others who know you are saying, that this is making the two of you truly happy. Ultimately what better news could there be than this?
Ariel, your comment about wanting other people to share something deeply personal put a strained smile on my face. Along with a pile of work one of the reasons I disappeared for a month was someone managed to share my credit card *angry* which has caused a certain amount of hassle, and disrupted my RE membership. The bank were very good about it, but after that, there are certain personal things I feel it is best to keep secret.
I do have to warn you two love birds that I am likely to think some decidedly impure thoughts about Ariel, even as I toast your happiness together *offers cake all round*

It looks like I am back just in time! The joys of falling down a big hole (full of work), it takes a while to dig your way out again.
It is sad news that people will be missing, but the good news is that this means I will get more of pling. That may sound terribly selfish, but strangely enough it sounds appealing all the same 😈

A useful reminder. I finally got around to visiting and casting a vote.
As a recent arrival this forum feels very “basic”, but I am used to a fairly up to date phpBB forum at another site.
To be honest there does not seem to be a lot of old, active, threads here to preserve. I have occasionally seen long running (and very long) threads that take on a life of their own, and are worth trying to preserve when moving from an old forum to a new forum.
What matters is the people at a forum, which will of course be preserved.
Technical features of this forum vs newer forums, anyone else try and use the quote button? For me I need to preview my reply before the quoted text makes it into the reply field.
An “inline” quick reply field makes it easier to post a quick and easy reply, which is also missing.
merlin, if you change your avitar how will we know it is you? your current “ooh whats that, can I see?” picture seems quite apt to me 🙂

This is an interesting set of thumbnails. To me, my totally personal (and thus completely correct and official :p ) opinion they are striking but not really sexy.
I would look at them, admire them, but ultimately I would choose something sexy over these just about every time.

To me, there are some very sexy images here that show wonderful shots of a full and shapely bottom. In part they are sexy due to that wonderful smile and the sexy look in pling’s eyes.
The expression is not everything, but it is a large part of it. Having the expression and the bottom at once, it is a very nice change 🙂
Actually this begs an interesting question, is / was pling more willing to have her bottom feature in the shots because she is relatively new to bondage modelling?

I know of a few different tools that will convert RM video files to another format. The one I normally use is:

I have only used it a few times, but it has always worked well for me. Generally I just leave video files alone, converting them from one format to another format is to much hassle for me.
As for the formats RE is using, I have moved over to mp4 files since they look better to me. I have compared a couple of movies before forming that decision.
They just play on my system, without having to argue with any codec’s, so I am happy. True I don’t know how future prove this is, but I have that concern over any computer file format more complex than plain text.
I still have a few old MS Works and MS Word documents from years ago that are nearly impossible to open / view. So unfortunately I don’t place that much faith in any format. Anything that is totally open source is probably *slightly* safer, but you still need programs to actually support it.

Hywel you as the main guest, so you actually spend more time chatting, sounds very interesting. To me you are such a large part of what makes RE what it is, and so special, that I find this idea quite appealing.
The “obvious” solution is to place something under the suspended model. I started thinking in terms of what you see in a magic act, with a ring being passed over the floating woman to show that she is floating, and that there are no wires.
Clearly passing a ring over the model is hardly the look you are going for here, but perhaps put something under her, some form of low stool, perhaps something nice and polished in wood?
It would need to be elegant, match the scene, and obviously not be to sharp or heavy, so there is no major risk to having a model hanging over it it (sharp) and it is quick to get out of the way (not heavy).
This relies on the idea of shadows from the model falling on this item, or perhaps just mere perspective.

A couple of images stand out, even from a group like this, for me.
Picture number 4, partly because the colours and general look of the rose petals, this background really draws my eye to the image, and sets it apart from the rest 🙂
The image a few further on, where Ariel is looking at the hanging metal head harness… that look in her eyes, the expression, the whole “feel” of the image, again it is something that really jumps out at me 🙂
What about placing the model in front of a large mirror?
I have come across a couple of sexy movies with a model stripping and dancing in front of a mirror. Only a couple, but they do work really well. Due to the offset mirror reflection you see both the front and the back of the model at once.
I have the vague feeling this could be a nightmare to light properly, but perhaps it will work without to many problems.
A second idea, what about a rear view of the model, but she is turning / twisting her upper body, to look backwards, perhaps to look down at her bottom, to see what is going on?

I am not sure this would be enough to stop her getting another attitude, although I do admire the positive thinking and optimism at work here 🙂

There is a general point here, sexy women getting kidnapped is a common feature in films, but they hardly ever seem to get tied up. Why not?!
